SOPA and PIPA are dead and buried by now, and ACTA is experiencing resistance throughout Europe. there have been protests all over against it, and the actual governments of European signatory states are divided on the issue. A lot of countries have signed the treaty, but so far no one has ratified it in their parliament to make it valid. So far several countries including Germany, Slovakia, Czech, Latvia and I think Netherlands, have on no uncertain terms said Fuck You to the treaty and the European Parliament itself is not very happy about it. Which is good news. ;D
