Premise
Zombie Apocalypse, that old trope. Well, it's time to dust it off. What's so special about this one? Well, apart from having a base to defend from the zombie onslaught and my usual rules, one thing I haven't seen done is the numbers. In this you'll fight everyone. Let me break it down this way:
Make a team of 7 characters to take down the entire population of our planet.
(You may use Ledgerites with associated characters, i.e. Ferro Vida - Punisher will give the user Ferro Vida all of Punisher's powers, abilities and equipment for the scenario, this is optional. It just gives you the chance to play through with friends (yay multiplayer) if you want, but you can just have regular characters too, no problem.)
They will be fast zombies and every zombie, anywhere in the world will be able to sense the living, no matter where they are. So they'll be coming for you, even if it takes them months or even years to walk under the ocean to get to you.
Your one benefit? You know they can sense the living. So there is no hiding. You can only bunker down. Try not to drown in empty shellcasings, because you're gonna use a lot of bullets.
Good thing you have this nice base to defend:
Bam, Whiskey Outpost from Starship Troopers will be transported into the Nevada desert. Inside you'll have sleeping quarters, showers, and an unlimited supply of nutritious food, basic medicine and ammunition.
(Characters will not have to return to the armory for ammo, their pockets will just refill)
Rules
-Characters will have unlimited standard ammo (but still need to reload).
-Characters must use standard gear.
-You may not loot fallen enemies nor trade equipment between team members.
-Characters who have trick arrows, special equipment or explosives will need to return to the armory (one of the buildings) in order to restock those items. Regular arrows, bullets, thrown weapons etc, will all replenish on their person. i.e. Batman's Utility Belt will restock itself automatically with regular batarangs, but special batarangs must be restocked at the armory.
-The zombies cannot be cured by any means available to you at the base. There is no biochemical supplies here. I don't care if you have MacGuyver, he isn't turning a toothpick into a cure for being undead.
-Anyone bitten will turn into a zombie. Someone with a healing factor similar to Wolverine's may overcome the infection, but they will be severely weakened for days.
-You may not use characters that have any of the following:
Physical attributes above Spider-Man.
Magic or reality warping.
Matter Manipulation.
Energy Manipulation above Cyclops.
Probability altering (good or bad luck).
Power mimicry or theft.
Illusion Casting.
Healing Factor above Wolverine.
Intangibility.
Flight.
Durability equal to or above Luke Cage/Master Chief (without shields). Basically bullet-resistant at best.
Telepathy or Telekinesis above Classic Cable.
Force Fields.
Pheromones.
Tele-dismemberment.
Size Manipulation.
Rules may be subject to change if there is something I have forgot to list but is otherwise outside the intended parameters. I reserve final say on all teams.
Good luck
