I can make some mean scrambled eggs, but that's pretty much the epitome of my culinary skill.

Lol, I just made spaghetti last night. I wouldn't say a wide variety, but I can cook a handful of dishes. I can do curry dishes. I can do larb, nam tok, pad se ew, pad thai, tom ka gai, thai fried rice, kai pakati, massaman, phanaeng, papaya pok pok salad. Soups are easy to do as well as noodle dishes. I can also make sweet sticky rice with mangoes for dessert and I can boil up some Thai tea with boba. My favorite to make though would have to be the papaya salad 'cause it's fun to shred the papaya and smash the spices and chili in the smasher thingy, whatever it's called. :3

My dad has given me a bit of tutoring on how to make potica. It's a Slovenian sweetbread, and it's become something of a tradition on his side for the man of the family to make potica during the holidays.

Technically, anyone who is able to follow the directions on a box of pre-mixed brownies can say they can cook. I think the general purpose of the thread is to be a little more specific on how well you can cook.

Pastries, meat, fish and sea food, salads, pastas, some drinks you name it. Really staying at home is nothing to stop me from putting up a swank dinner for a special lady.

Ooh that reminds me of baked bananas, which I can also make. Well, they're not bananas, they're plantains but they're delicious.
