Did we see how Phil became the new Hobgoblin because I missed 649 where he first appeared and just wanted to know.

I think in ASM #648 stated the issues that this had happened. I think it said that it happened in Green Goblin 1-13. =]

For Hobgoblin he
SPOILER ALERT
Wanted to impress Nora and found out about a secret lair Norman Osborn kept his equipment. Roderick Kingsley, the real Hobgoblin appeared there at the same moment, and nearly killed Phil. At the final moment Phil used his laugh and incapacitated Kingsley long enough to -- seemingly decapitate him and take his equipment for his own.

Anti-Venom with a knife in his chest at the foot of Mr. Negative. Amazing imagery.... but I really, really doubt it'll last for about ten seconds before he rips it out and floods him with tendrils. Or maybe it's some kind of uber-knife, like the sonic knives in the 90s, but with that toxin that weakens Anti...

I think Mr. Negative defeating Anti-Venom is more-so symbolism for their struggles between the two ahead. I'm sure Anti-Venom will try to take out Mr. Negative's empire and what not, and at one point he'll seemingly be killed or bested. Because we all know a knife won't do jack.

I am sure it will be kinda difficult for him at first adjusting to fighting without it. And curious to see how long he will be without it.

Indeed. Most of the time, he was fighting while he was relying to his sense. No that he can not do it, it might be harder for him to fight without it. But it won't be impossible. There are several instances that he had to fight without his sense. Famous examples are his fights against Brock. Also, i recall Norman Osborn being able to cancel his sense as well.
I'm curious to see how much it will last as well. =]

Yeah, the symbiotes are immune to his spider-sense, right? Maybe this is how Mary-Jane gets powers as shown in 654.1, he trys some things to restore his spider-sense, things go wrong and she gets powers, because she says "Peter, what have you done?". Purely speculation at this point but you never know.

Yup they are. Yeah, that sounds like an interesting scenario and there is a good possibility that you might be correct. Btw, the funny thing, is that at first i did not realize that this was Mary Jane. I thought it was Arana, but then i have realized that Arana is not a red-head...lol XD
