I've almost finished reading BIG TIME. I've noticed that a few other Marvel characters I'm looking at at the moment will be appearing in next few issues. Danny Rand, Luke Cage and a few of their friends that were in Immortal Iron Fist. So that's good.

Spider-Island started up, and it's great as usual. Cloak and Dagger tie in is definitely gonna be tight. Love the artwork in that issue. Not much else to say except it's amazing. Oh, and MJ had a funny line in there.
"I swear, if we're doing the clone thing again, I'm going back to L.A." Good ol' MJ.

I'm really excited about Spider Island. Everything leading up to it has been great.

Spider-Girl's old past looks to be catching up with her with this Spider-Island stuff.
Spoiler
And it looks like it hit the Kingpin, too.

Is it true that Spider-Man got his spider-sense back now?

F**k yeah.
With his spider-sense and martial arts training, he might be above street level now...

F**k yeah. With his spider-sense and martial arts training, he might be above street level now... provided he isn't written like a moron, there is no "might" TBH, that's a relatively big If. As much as I love reading Marvel, I've learned to stop hoping that writers will do what I want them to do. For one thing, I was hoping they would stop obsessing over maintaining the status quo, and let Parker's spider-sense STAY away. Not that I really wanted him to be spider-sense-less, but I just wanted a major character change to actually stick for once.

Seems to me like Slott planned it all along.

Well if they stay true to his new martial arts training. He's no longer street level, too powerful physically.

Seems to me like Slott planned it all along. He seemed really thrilled about the idea at the panel. When he was asked about if the spider-sense is back for good, he was happy to go "Yes! And now....he's got the kung fu, too!" So yeah, it definitely seemed like he wanted a reason to make Spider-Chang. By the way, Slott seems like the nicest man on this planet.

That's what I was thinking, deprive of his spider sense in order to have the character hone his skills, and ultimately emerge stronger than ever from the tribulation.
Good to hear it, he seems extremely amiable in every interview I've seen from him.

I've finished BIG TIME. From then to 663. I didn't really get into. Post 663, I think is better. Would it be best if I read Infested: Road to Spider-Island? Or can I dive right into Spider-Island?

Infested, as in the back-up stories in ASM? Sure, you could read them, but it's not mandatory.

Judging by your response. I'll take the option to dive right into Spider-Island.

Read Spider Island: Deadly Foes at some point. And the Venom tie-ins are informative, too.
