I don't remember Deathlok being mentioned, no.
I really liked the AoA story in Point One. UXF # 19 lays the groundwork for that title, too.

I see.
Yeah I remember reading somewhere that it would spin out of the Dark Angel Saga. It was a nice story and had nice art. I found Red Prophet to be quite cool. But I also have to admit that while I was reading that story, I didn't realise that this was the AoA reality until I saw the ad for the book in the end lol

Prophet was beyond cool. Great design, very reminiscent of Darth Revan to me. Loved the twist in the end about the real identities of the team members.

True. His design was great. Never thought I would say that Stryker is cool lol And I agree about the twist. But I didn't recognise all the names. Namely the women.

Google them. ;D
I like the idea that people who would be labeled as madmen in the core universe are basically humanity's only hope in AoA.

I did. Didn't find any info about those two women. So I guess that they don't have 616 counterparts.
That is one thing I like about alternate realities. You get to see new spins on characters.

Haha, I meant the surnames.
Yeah, it surely has potential and it's pretty fresh.

Good idea. I tried them on CV and found few people with those surnames. They did seem familiar but I couldn't remember from where. Before that story I thought that Fiend and Horroe Show would be versions of Elektra and Crossbones lol

Haha, yeah, K4tz thought one could be the Punisher. It's cool to see they didn't go for the easy way out.

I even thought that he could be Taskmaster. I blame the skull mask for it lol True, hadn't seen that coming.

Read Wolverine and the X-Men #2. Nice issue. It was nice seeing Iceman taking his powers a step further. As for the Kade and the new Hellfire Club while I think they are perfect for a book like this that has a lighter and funnier tone, I think I would have a hard time seeing them as credible threats in a more serious book.

Just two things I was curious about. That guy Krakken that appeared in Point One was Moses Magnum because says that he appeared in that issue. And about that Storm that appeared in Astonishing X-Men. Saw some people saying that she wasn't the mainstream one and was curious.

What's up with the little Nightcrawler things that keep appearing in Wolverine and the X-Men?

Too bad it's not going to last long.
Marvel doesn't like making major character changes like that permanent.

I haven't read AVX but I thought it sounded pretty cool...

I definitely didn't see that one coming when I was reading AvX #5 earlier this week.

I thought X-Men Legacy #268 was really nicely done. I enjoyed the story, script and art. It was a very nice look at Frenzy as a character and what motivates her. It's tied to AvX but all but stands on it's own as a one-shot.
