Nope. But it's a Marvel comic that looks appealing to the eyes. :

I read Sky Doll.I don't know whether to tell you to read it or not.It was pretty meh for me.It remind me of an anime.I can't put my finger on which but it did.I liked the art in it as well.If you have a comic shop in which to purchase this.I say go look through a few pages..see what's going on.If you order your comics like many people do there's no way to preview but you might want to pick it up anyway.
Also I asked if anyone read Women of Marvel but I wouldn't recommend it.I was only asking to see if anyone thought it sucked as much as I did. It's just like Girl Comics. The art is terrible and nothing happens. It's Marvel's way of pretending they are actually reaching out to girls when in actuality based on the cover alone it's possibly most of the people who pick this up will be male.

Anyone else reading Homestuck? Seriously, I want someone to discuss the plot with outside of the MS Paint Adventures forums(where I'm ignored quite a bit)

Read the issues 1 and 2 and I love them. There isn't much dialogue but that doesn't bother me in the slightest because it made up for by the great artwork. Morrison's defiantly got Batman on the mind here; making a cameo. I love the world and I can't wait to read the rest.
Recommend this to everyone.

Sky Doll is actually a Soleil production and thus originally a French Language comic. It loses quality in translation, speaking as someone who's read both the original french version and the U.S version.
My younger brother likes it but I believe it is probably the third weakest Soleil series out there.

Heard good things of Joe the Barbarian. But I have other priorities.

I'm looking for a Marvel street level character to get into and start reading (aside from Iron Fist and Moon Knight). I'm just interested in current, or fairly recent runs/volumes on the characters, from like 2000-current. Daredevil sort of interests me, but I'm open to anything. Can anyone suggest or recommend anything to me? Also, I recently read Widowmaker #1, which I recommend to anyone who may be interested. It is good, and I think the Ronin character is very cool. Here are a couple reviews: CBR, IGN

Lately I've been reading the living hell out of Ultimate Spider-Man, and I've just about caught up. The art shifts in the last couple of storylines have been really weird, but I kind of like the current state of the visuals. I'm kidding tired of all the drama in Peter's personal life, because some of it is just totally ridiculous, and at this point my suspension of disbelief is straining. and considering that this is a freaking comic book, that's saying something. the unexplained love...quad....helix....thing with the entire group of friends is madness and it's starting to take up a bit too much time in the comic, it seems. the balance is shifting from spider-man to peter a bit too much.
that being said I'm still a bit behind so current issues might be totally different. I will say this, though: mysterio is no joke in the ultimate universe. dude's pretty badass.

Daredevil has truly been one of the most consistently well written books on the shelves, for years on end. Bendis' run on the title probably tops my top 20 Marvel runs of the decade 2000-9. Brubaker's is not far behind either.

Really, I've heard some great things about it but that good huh? I'll definitely have to check this out then. Thanks.
@nexus-I haven't read Superior #3 yet, but the first two were kinda 'eh' to me. Really just not a whole lot going on, and it was sort of boring for me IMO.

I can understand how it could come off as boring. Not much action or big time movie explosions that Millar's known for, but as far as everything else, I've found it top notch. Much more of a "how is this kid going to deal with this" instead of the whole "hey, let's go out and fight stuff."

Oh I hear what you are saying. I'm not saying it is not good writing (it is), but it just really isn't clicking for me right now. I'm not one who only likes big action pieces, I admire great writing as well, (to be honest, I mostly skimmed through #2), but it just isn't grabbing my interest too much yet. Hopefully that will change starting with #3.
