What, seriously? I thought it was written by Mark Waid? I agree about the nullifier though. Too bad he left it in his other pants.

He can call it regardless of distance. He said "it is as part of me as my own heart".

Hm, must have mixed it up.
Also, I love how Galactus is seemingly one with the nullifier, when the very first he was in has the Fantastic four sending him home with his tail between his legs with the damn thing...

You know, I've seen a lot of complaints on the vine too about how Galactus should one shot this guy and how Pak is making him job and stuff, and I don't really see it. I mean if this guy has already been defined as antithesis of Eternity (along with a thousand other beings, but we'll let that slide) then Galactus would be kinda out of his ball park. I really don't see a problem with him having to work against Mikaboshi. Granted, he hasn't done anything awesome yet, but the series is still young, have patience. Well compared to Abraxas, Chaos King really comes off as a small fry. It wasn't until he got his tenticles on the Earth's Pantheons that he seemingly became WTF powerful, even then he should still be leagues below Eternity. Although having Death run from with her tail between her legs is a nice feat, probably the best one he has thus far. Hm, must have mixed it up. Also, I love how Galactus is seemingly one with the nullifier, when the very first he was in has the Fantastic four sending him home with his tail between his legs with the damn thing... Galactus was just being a gentleman about it. Attachments:

He's already been defined as the opposite and equal of Eternity. So by definition. he's a pretty damn big fry(?). Now it's just a question of whether he lives up to it, which, so far, he is succeeding.

Hercules and Amadeus Cho remain the two threats to him, with him entirely relieing on Athena to guide his actions( With Athena likely leading to his undoing aswell). If he was already Eternity's equal in every way, why bother wiping out the the Earth's pantheons and their respected realms, which seemingly gave him a vast power up from his previous state, at all? Perhaps my opinion will change as chaos war continues, but right now it's touch seeing him at Eternity's level of power, much less Abraxas level.

Anyone know what's going on with this? A few one-shots have come out recently (Dead Avengers, Chaos King, God-Squad). The core series has stopped at # 3.

OK, so Chaos War is officially over. In the end, I thought it was alright. It was just kind of 'eh' to me. It didn't even make a whole lot of sense either. It had zero impact on the Marvel Universe because Herc just conveniently restored the whole universe in the end. How he even had that level of power I don't understand either. So really the only impact it had aside from bringing a few dead people back, is that Herc is now powerless. But I'm not a big fan Herc fan either, so I don't care much about that anyways.
Thoughts?

I'm glad Alpha Flight is back.

Nonsensical ending, but at least I'm glad Herc gets a new series from a creative team that has done wonders for him.

Ha, I enjoyed the ending. I feel like I need to go back and re-read it in its entirety now just because, but over all it was alright. I think it'll be interesting to see how Herc and Cho go about their lives now.

Living Tribunal...Where in the blue hell where you in this event? Yeah. Would have been a perfect cameo. I see no reason why Herc should have been that powerful but OK, I'll just accept it.

Avoiding the discussion about powerlevels and why everything depended on the Pantheons -it seems that under Pak the Pantheons hold a certain abstract part of the universe, that much was implied during Sacred War-, I think it's good that we have Alpha Flight back and that Herc gets his ongoing again, simply because Pak really revamped the characters and it's well deserved. I feel that the god squad should've had another book.
