The Bendis run. I'm going to keep an open mind and see how it goes. Dear Jake Fury,
It is with deep regret that I must inform you that you are hereby banished from being a fan of Moon Knight.
Signed, Common senseDIE BENDIS DIE Dear IV123,
I'd much prefer to read it myself before dismissing something I may enjoy due to a personal displeasure I have with the author of said title.
Signed, Jake Fury
P.S. If a certain comic is causing you to wish death on someone may I recommend knitting or basket weaving as a possible alternate hobby?

I disagree with the choice of posing for that cover. It's like Marvel just gave up trying to say that he wasn't just a Batman ripoff.

Well, considering Marvel actually gave something away for free, they probably completely forgot about it.

That first issue of Moon Knight was cool. I kinda wish Bendis didn't give the premise away though, because that woulda been a much better punch line at the end if it was left secret.

I agree Nexus. It could have gone on for much longer.

Welcome to the site, josepholde! Are you a new fan of the character or a long-time reader? Thanks! I go back with Moon Knight to 1980 or so, though over the years I haven't read a lot of his stuff. This issue looks like a good place to get back into reading his adventures.

That's still a good amount of his material. I'm just upset that Bendis is making Moon Knight's mental state downgrade significantly and he's not justifying why.

Just read VOTMK volume 1, Shock & Awe. I like Hurwitz's take on Moony.

It's not shabby, but I feel like the quality goes downhill later on.

5 issues in and the new series is pretty decent IMO. The triple personality thing is just annoying at this point. I feel like I have to read through a few panels of it every issue and then it gets acceptable.
