I also predict you'll make your av Gorgon and your quote "I love Gorgon and you should too." Nah, too far.

The Cobra's regeneration enabled him to regrow the lower part of his body. In the course of several years, of course.
To get things straight. The stare isn't really a factor at all, regardless on if he has it here, or not. The Gorgon doesn't enjoy using it during combat. It's more so his finishing move, a coup de grace, so to speak.
Fat Cobra has demonstrated impressive speed (sheer speed). Not much on the agility (even though he is manoeuvrable for a guy of his stature and build), or reflexes.
On the other hand, the Gorgon moved, impaled, and fatally wounded Wolverine, before Wolverine could comprehend he did it. His reflexes are sufficient to make a total joke out of Elektra in single combat (beating her to a pulp without being hit once), and deflecting bullets from multiple machine guns back to the shooters. Recently, with Nick Fury firing two shots at Baron Von Strucker without warning from mid range the Gorgon waited for the bullets to reach a couple of inches from Strucker's face before chopping both bullets in half.
On top of it, the Gorgon is a telepath. His telepathy enabled him to pierce Wolverine's psi-resistance without real effort. While he cannot mind blast people or anything to that effect, he can read them like an open book.
To make matters worse, when Wolverine and Elektra teamed up, made a surprise attack on Gorgon while using psi-dampeners and a variery of others SHIELD equipment, they managed to stun and stab the Gorgon through his heart, langs, and stomach. That not only didn't slow him down, but he proceded to one-shot Elektra (with her mind still shielded), and make a total mess out of Wolverine in a couple of shots.
He currently wields Grasscutter, the sword with which Phobos managed to critically injure Ares himself during Oeming's Ares mini, so, needless to say, it will pierce Cobra's body, as well.
Cobra is stronger, has long range attacks (that as we saw are powerful, but can be sustained by Iron Fist, who was nowhere near as powerful or knowledgeable in the ways of the book of the Iron Fist during his fight with Cobra) so even if the Gorgon got hit (still unlikely), he should be able to tank it, or just heal.
The Gorgon is faster, has by far superior reflexes, can read Cobra's mind and has a weapon with which a little kid nearly killed the God of War.
This isn't a fight. It's bloody murder. NOOOO, I LIKE FAT COBRA TOO MUCH TO ADMIT THAT THIS WOULD BE A STOMP

@ Surfer (I like the new name, obviously )
I have a Gorgon scans folder at my CV images. You can check out his showings as pretty much everything I mentioned can be found there.
As a sidenote, the Gorgon is also a genius, mathematically proving the existence of God at the age of 12. LOL.
I just checked your folder. Some awesome stuff. Logan's "victory" over him seemed like a cheapshot, to me. LOL. I heard about that. As to my username, I figured you would appreciate it. I am right in the middle of a Star Wars novel at the moment, but once I finish with that, I was planning on reading some Classic Surfer (in addition to more novels ;D ). So my username/avatar/sig is a precursor to that.

Of course, Gorgon got better, LOL.
I'm sad because SS will be losing to Thor soon. And Galactus will job to Asgard.

I have a question about Gorgon. Is his moving speed or reflexes greater than spidey's ( i recall a thread in CV about this but i trust more the elite debaters ) =]

No, it's in the relaunched Mighty Thor, starting this April. With all the publicity Thor is getting (due to the film), and the fact that they fight in Thor's own on-going which is supposed to serve as a jump-in point for readers, there is no way SS is winning the fight. And Galactus vs Asgard is just silly. It could end up being a cool storyarc, I just don't like that two characters I enjoy will get the shaft to make Thor and Asgard look good.Moving speed has never been calculated. Reflexes, it's hard to say. I'd say they are at about the same level.

Moving speed has never been calculated. Reflexes, it's hard to say. I'd say they are at about the same level. I see. So it seems that he does not have many showings but they were enough to put him on a similar level of reaction time to spidey. That's just awesome....

No, he actually has plenty of showings that put him at least the same level. I'm just giving Spider-Man the benefit of the doubt since he mostly dodges bullets, he doesn't need to deflect them, so we don't know if he could do it at the same degree the Gorgon does, or not.

I could explain my views on why Surfer could and, reasonably, should beat Thor, but that would be a discussion for a Thor vs Surfer thread. I do agree though that having him and Galactus job for Thor/Asgard to begin a series may be good for plot, but it would still be stupid.

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad Thor finally gets to do things outside of Earth, since I felt his series had previously been rather self-contained so he didn't have much space to illustrate how powerful he is, I'd just want the fight to be done under more equal standards. By default, we all know SS/Galan will fail, after all. I mean, does anyone think the Surfer will kill Thor and Galactus will devour Asgard?

Oh, my mistake then. Sorry but I don't think i understand your point. We've seen Spider-Man dodge multiple bullets from close range (and even catch one, even if he passed out afterwards), but we've seen Gorgon not only dodge, but stop, and sent multiple bullets at once back to the shooters. Both have additional advantages (spider-sense, telepathy), that potentially forewarn them of an impending attack, but they also operate on different levels (Gorgon being one of the best fighters on Earth, Spider-Man goofing around - Gorgon using weapons, Spider-Man doesn't wishes to), so that's why I'm saying it is difficult to say who has superior reaction timing.

Maybe not? You have a point though.

OK, I see your point now. Considering these, indeed it would be hard to figure out who has better reaction time. Btw, spidey has stopped bullets before.....with webbing

On the other hand, duty for the Surfer and love for Asgard for Thor are compelling reasons to fight over. It just seems difficult to think the Surfer can take down a being that, since conception, has been arguably Thor's equal in a few punches while holding back, but Thor will do so much better.

Surfers' encounter with Bill had come to mind when thinking of him fighting Thor.
