Recently I decided to read The End League after having heard a few things about it and because it looked interesting. It was a series by Dark Horse Comics, written by Rick Remender and with Mat Broome and later Eric Canete as the artist. The series only lasted for 9 issues due to Remender signing an exclusive deal with Marvel. The series starts with one of the last heroes left standing, Astonishman, telling us how the world came to be as it is now and introduces as to the rest members of his team. Their goal is to find Thor's hammer Mjolnir, which they believe, will help them make the world a better place again. Some of them later go to steal food from Dead Lexington, the villain of the story. This is where the story kicks in. The story contains many twists and revelations until the very last issue. Alliances are forged and friendships are ruined during the course of this series, all leading to the finale. Art wise, Mat Broome was the artist for issues 1-4 and Eric Canete for issues 5-9. Broome's style was more clean and straight but still very nice. Canete's style was slightly a bit more edgy, I could say and personally I liked this one more even though both styles were very good. Overall it was a nice series and I recommend it to someone who wants to read something else besides DC and Marvel but not very alienating. Score: 3,5/5 Attachments:

I thought that this comic had one of the best finale's I've ever seen in comics. The whole series had it's ups and downs but damn was the end great. I CONCUR WITH THIS REVIEW.

Cool. I would read it. It reminds me a bit of Image type stuff.
