I have an idea for a rather... unorthodox... wizard. I'm not sure if you'd consider him acceptable or not. Basically, my wizard deals with concepts that were explained a little bit in "The Sorcerer's Apprentice". Essentially, there is not such thing as actual magic. Everything can be explained by physics if you understand it deeply enough. My wizard is a muggle-born Hogwarts student whose parents are deeply learned physicists. They take a deep interest to his magical abilities, and have taught him physics so that he can use that knowledge to better his understanding of magic. Interesting Idea, but I'm not sure on how it would fit. :/

Hmmm...very interesting idea. I'm not sure if it makes sense within this universe though. The point of magic in the HP universe is sort of that it doesn't make sense to muggles. Of course it's not my call lol

Well see the problem with my idea is that I'm pretty sure it doesn't mesh with your character. I was thinking that since the first two wizarding wars were really a Civil War among wizards it would be interesting if they faced an external threat and had to come together, Dark Wizards and good wizards and unite or perish.

I like it. Who would be the outside threat though? They would have to be quite strong. Muggles?

I was thinking a resentful Muggle. Most Muggles are unaware of the Wizarding World, however if there was a family with twins and one was magical and one wasn't that would be good motive. Then we make them really smart and charismatic/manipulative, maybe a little crazy (think Azula from Avatar). Then we make them gain the support of groups that have been oppressed by Wizards (Giants, Vampires, Centaurs, Goblins, etc). Just an idea.

Also I don't know if you've thought of this but i am going to approach Andferne and see if he wants in. Not sure if he's a HP fan but he's a good RPer and I'd like to invite him.

Also. I'm not sure whether to make my character a 7th year at Hogwarts, or already graduated. Which would you think would flow best with the story?

Hmm...I'm really contemplating saying she actually graduated a year early and becomes the youngest Auror ever. I want to make her a genius, super smart (like Hermione) but give her a rebellious personality, maybe make her a little like Fred and George lol. Physically she'll be a spitting image of hermione but with red hair.

I'm thinking of making my guy kind of a Neville/Remus kind of guy. Generally a nice guy, but very quiet and reserved.
