Writer: Peter Calloway
Note
Before I review the issue, I must say I have been loving this series and have only been disapointed with a few things that have happened.
The Writing/Plot
The issue starts out resolving the the past story arc. To avoid possible spoilers, I must say I didn't like the arc much at all. It really takes away from Catwoman and tries to show off the importantance of Batman, which I understand. I was glad to get that over with, as it wasn't very good IMO. I did like the conclusion to the story though, as it showed why Calloway picked the guess stars as he did. It made sense, even if I didn't like the idea of the story. The conclusion showed just how close the Siren's have become. A good conclusion to a mediocre story.
It then moves to that Catwoman tring to cope with the things that happened and Zatana pops up. The character interaction here is great and I enjoyed this part quite a bit. It shows a bit more of the Selina we saw in her first Solo volume, which has been needed. It then skips to Harley and Catwoman talking, which I also enjoyed, but to a lesser degree. There conversation is deep, interesting, and leads to the part that I want to talk about the most, but can't!!
Harley Quinn then takes a different turn than we have ever seen her. Her talk with Catwoman brings back memories of her own. She then vows to do something, but I will leave that to you guys. This is major character development for Harley and I hope that Calloway delivers with the set up. He has me truely excited
The Art
Overall, the art is amazing. The cover by Gulliem March is good, but a bit lack luster in comparrison to his others, though I don't blame him. It is a thing DC is doing. The internal art is top notch as well. I love the artist's effect on the eyes of the Joker and Batman, read the issue find out what I mean. He has a nice touch on each othe the characters and the setting. I also love the coloring in this book.
Re-Cap

-Not impressed with the idea of the previous story that is concluded here. (But it leads to something better)
-Don't like the what the Writer has done to Catwoman in terms of strength of mind, but he later redeems himself
