I'm not a big movie goer but it's always nice to know what's good right now. So what movies are presently out that you all would recommend?

I honestly haven't seen a good movie at the cinemas since Inception and Iron Man 2 came out.

Has anyone seen Paranormal Activity? I was debating seeing it.

The original Paranormal Activity was a pretty dull film with unlikeably characters that was almost redeemed by it's last ten or so minutes.
I don't really have a lot of motivation to see the new one, and that's even with being a fan of the "found film" genre.

Honestly, I really enjoyed "The Town." It has a similar vibe to "The Departed", so if you enjoyed that I'd highly recommend it.

You definitely should. The Boston accents can be a little thick at times, but overall it isn't an issue. Alsooooo, Predators was just released on dvd/blu-ray ;D ;D ;D

I would never go into a Predator-related movie expecting a stunning plot. They delivered exactly what I wanted. A solid, entertaining and action-packed Predator movie. About time, too! Both AvP movies suuuucked, but that doesn't stop the fanboy in me from loving them

Predator movies have been terrible for awhile. I think the only reason you can watch them is 'cause you want to watch an alien fuck people up left, right and center.

HAI NOW. Predator 2 wasn't TERRIBLE. The AvP movies is where quality hit the fan. The Alien movies, though? I have no clue why they continued past "Aliens." They're working on a prequel, though.

I know Jack Ass 3-D is out... But I'd hardly call that worth seeing. If you're going to spend money at the movies, go see Legend of the Guardians or Red.

Did someone say Inception?! Mockery aside, it's a must-see movie.
