All things Omega Red related go here. I will start the ball rolling by asking k4tz the question that has always been on my mind but have been too embarrassed to ask:
Why does Omega Red need the C-synthesizer to stabilize his carbonadium poisoning when all it does is create carbonadium? It seems to me that all it would do is make his condition worse.

It wouldn't create carbonadium for him, it would help level his condition (carbonadium poisoning).
Basically, the material was given to him because it was the closest they(The U.S.S.R) had to adamantium, and they wanted him to be a super soldier. Unfortunately for him, it weakens him and forces him to use his death factor/life drain to constantly heal himself. What the c-sync would do is meltdown/liquify the element into a new one, thus removing his poisoning. HOW would it do that? I have NO idea, lol.

When he comes back to life (you know it is going to happen) what would you like to see happen with him?

I'd need to brainstorm about that. What about you? Anything else about the character you want to discuss?

I'd need to brainstorm about that. What about you? Anything else about the character you want to discuss? You mean aside from a snarky remark on his pedo nature? Yes actually. Without the coils and death spores, how great of a fighter do you think he is? Because I never got the impression that he would be much without either of those. In fact, the only reason I think he lasts against Wolverine is because Wolverine has so much life to sap.

That happened once and nothing has ever implied such since.... It's impossible to tell, really. All of his bios have listed him as a skilled hand-to-hand combatant, and he was previously a solider, after all. But after his upgrades, he didn't really need to use technique at all, TBH. His combat really relies on his powers and attributes more than anything. Even without life drain/death spores, he still has 10 ton strength, an impressive healing factor/durability/armor, and of course, the coils. We've seen Omega Red take numerous roles through the years. He doesn't really appear to have any specific loyalty, since we've seen him turn on his country, and then work for various opposing organizations (communists, the Hand, etc). It seems like as long as the group can benefit him, he'll take orders. But he was also briefly a crime lord-esque character in Russia, which is sort of out of character, TBH. I think as a character it's really his primary goal to stabilize his coniditon, so he should always be hunting for the c-synth.

Have they ever explored Omega Red beyond his need for the C-synth? I know you mentioned his short stint as a crime boss but did the writers bother to crack open Omega Red's head in that?

We've never taken a dive too deep into Arkady, the person, instead of Omega Red, the threat. Perhaps a more detailed look at his origin and unrevealed history as the russian super soldier would be a good read. Of course, they'd have to throw in a cameo or two to draw in readers.

I think I am seeing Deadpool in Omega Red's future. Then merc that will inadvertently bring Omega Red back to life!

If anyone at Marvel reads this, please never allow a Deadpool / Omega Red story. Thank you.

I think I would like seeing Omega Red without the carbonadium. He finally gets the C-synth and is free of his need to kill just to survive. Then we would see what he would do without that need.

Honestly, I think it would be cool to see him manipulated onto the Thunderbolts or working for SHIELD under the promise that enough service will result in giving him the c-snyth

This is a good conversation so far. I think I'll make one for Crossbones, too.

Yes, he was. He basically got one-shotted by Logan LOL. Omega Red grabbed him by the neck, Wolverine tossed him over and then stabbed him
