Talk about Wolverine's adamantium laced (and now deceased...) foe here!

The only man Wolverine was afraid of!

I guess having being pwned and having your eye ripped out could do that to a man. But yeah, thankfully he was able to get over that fear when they met again in Marvel Comics Presents.

I personally thought his second body situation was a joke compared to the extremely dangerous first version.

It sure was. The classic could lift 10 tons, had a healing factor, cybernetic eye, and adamantium tipped claws that could deploy poisons/hallucinogens.
Current? Sorta strong, shitty heart that gave out any time he got too worked up.

Do you think he has potential if he were to come back again?

I like Cyber because he gave Daken props.

Any character has potential in the right hands, IMHO.

I mean would it make sense to even bring him back again? Because we know that death does not have a strong hold on him so it is possible that he can. But would you want it to happen and is there even a type of story that you would go for?

Dude, the guy got eaten to the bone and he came back. If we suspended our disbelief for his first return, nothing's stopping him from a second.
That being said, he's a strong presence, and Wolverine needs his classic villains back. Sabretooth, Omega Red, Cyber all need to return. Too many of them got killed off in a very short time frame.

That being said, I hope Romulus never returns.

It makes sense, considering even when his body was completely destroyed, he was able to return. As of now, there's no reason to believe he cannot accomplish the same. Would I want it to? Definitely. He has the potential to literally return as anyone he wants to. He was able to take over the new body because he mind was so weak...and if I was him, now that I have this ability, I'd go scouting for younger mutants and then take one of those.

His new body surviving the adamantium coating process is nonsensical, though.
The use of adamantium in general is poor. Do we have an update on how the hell Bullseye is still alive?

I posted the dialogue in one of his forums under CV. Pretty much they gave him herbs and Dark Wind prayed to a severed head they worship....And ta-da! Good as new! ..... As for Sabretooth/Omega Red/Cyber returning, I have a half-decent idea for that.

Sabretooth returning will require some epic PIS now that Wolverine cut him to pieces with the Devil's sword.

@morph: Bullseye is alive? Both of I think the first bonding process was more unlikely to be successful due to the time period it happened in. The second one was by the Tinkerer right? That guy makes anything happen. @k4tz: Yeah but it is not like he can just take over anybody. He was only shown to be able to overtake a severely mentally handicapped child.

Sabretooth returning will require some epic PIS now that Wolverine cut him to pieces with the Devil's sword. What is weird is that the wounds made by that sword are never supposed to heal yet, at the end of the issue where he fights the Devil, his ear has grown back. :/

Exactly why I propose he goes after a young mutant. Also, we don't know how strong his influence would be on a better mind. It might be something where Cyber can take control every now and then. Regardless, his mental power should be enough to take over someone young enough, IMHO.
As for them returning...Let's just say Wolverine is obviously going to escape hell...And I'd imagine the demon/devil wouldn't be all that thrilled about being thwarted like that...So how about sending his three most dangerous foes back to hunt him down and send him back to hell? ...or something like that. lol
