Electro for 30 is a bargain. Mind, a competent electricity user like Black Lightning is probably 85-100. Nope, he is no wgere near that high. Look at Zoom and I's game. BTW, ill do my turn later on when I get to my condo.

There's a more recent version that costs 88 points.

There's a more recent version that costs 88 points. Maybe they'll actually give him his flight

I'm using mostly rookie dials from older sets (older sets would release 3 or 4 versions of a character at a time, representing rookie, experienced and veteran stats...but they'd all be practically the same with higher stats for the vets) because the Outsiders figures are all old, old figures have less powers to explain and lots of underpowered rookies means we can have 4 figures on a team for 200 points.

There's no such thing as bulletproof in Heroclix, you oaf. I was hoping you'd reply with the scan where Deadshot states the very same thing. Minus oaf and Heroclix, of course...

Have you seen the Suicide Squad scan where he takes out a room with his eyes shut?

Heroclix is fun but I definitely spent too much money on it. And no one in my current city seems to play. My local comic shop has only sold heroclix to me.

before i start getting wrecked on our match,a character cant move normaly and then attack, correct? since that would take away the whole utility of charge?

Indeed. Each character can only take one action per turn. A move action doesn't allow attacks. Attack action don't allow movement. However, charge is a power action with lets you move, then attack. Same for Running Shot only it lets you make a ranged attack instead of a close one.

I have played hero lox since it was launched, in a somewhat off and on manner, as I am a RPGer. I have played it at cons, played it with friends and to be honest it does not really appeal as it does not offer the flavour and variety of actually playing the character like an actual RPG game does. Heroclix can be simplistic fun but after a while I found that the simplistic part was what came through strongest. It has strategy like a board game or card game can have with a sprinkle of the comic flavour but what I really craved was a 4 course meal and I could get only get that with playing my favourite characters in an RPG adventure where I became the hero (or villain). I was not restricted to a single attack as depicted on a dial but had a suite of attack opportunities that recreated what I had seen in comics and taking my action uttering those immortal words (when playin Cap America), "Avengers Assemble"........if you get that opportunity to RPG these characters, take it.

I'm seeing two major complaints, here. 1) Characters are limited to one kind of attack. 2) There aren't enough RPG elements The first problem is kinda solved by modern heroclix. With the addition of special powers, figures are much more unique and characters with odd powers are better represented while characters like Wolverine and Batman are not necessarily limited to Leap/Climb or Charge or Stealth but are given all three at once. It's never going to be as in depth as a first person video game or a pen and paper RPG when it comes to number of available options, though. It's a squad based game, after all. As for the RPG elements, I think that can be more easily fixed. I know this guy who essentially publishes his own stories each month and then a group of people play heroclix with them. So one month, the Justice League is fighting the Injustice League and the Titans are taking on Deathstroke, while the Green Lantern Corps battle the spider guild. As the characters gain experience (for koing enemies, defending their allies, etc), they can use those points to recruit new teammates or upgrade their dials to more expensive ones. The Titans started with this Nightwing. And ended up with this one. That's a pretty big difference in power and usefulness. If that kind of thing appeals to you, I can send you a link.
