Writer: Jeff Parker Artist: Elena Casagrande Inker: Elizabeth Breitweiser Fear Itself hits the pages of the Red Hulk here. As Sin's forces assault Washington DC, the handful of New Avengers in NYC are expecting the worse. They're absolutely right of course as an invasion force hits the city. To make matters worse, Ben Grimm has been transformed into an avatar of the Serpent and is wreaking havoc. Luckily, the Red Hulk is in town to lend a helping hand. He faces down Grimm in battle and it's a slugfest of the highest order. During the battle, Modok observes and is wondering why General Ross doesn't use his bio absorption power to siphon off the Thing's energies. The fight isn't going well for Rulk and to make matters worse, Grimm drops a good portion of Avengers Tower on top of him. To further complicate things Rulk's new enemies Zero/One and Black Fog show up to hit him while he's down.... Thoughts: I've loved Parker's work on Rulk so far and this issue doesn't disappoint. MODOK's analysis of Rulk throughout is pretty interesting and reveals some info about the man behind the monster. This is a fun tie in for Fear Itself and if you've been following this series you need to grab it. 7.5/10

Cool. If I decide to check out the tie-ins I'll give this one a read. I enjoy Parker's work on Hulk, so I'm sure I'll agree.

I still need to get issues 30-33...Zero/One and Black Fog seem pretty cool...
