How would he have stopped it? land safetly on the ice? the air-plane didnt explode when it crashed anyway,i cant be the only who thought Cap`s musical was the best part in the movie Besides the controls being damaged and Cap being largely unfamiliar with the craft itself, he went for a water landing, where he assuming froze up with the ship until it resurfaced in the present (Woot for Global Climate Change! It brought back Cap!). If he had crashed into the ground, it would not have been a pretty sight. anyway,i cant be the only who thought Cap`s musical was the best part in the movie I hated that part. How one cannot enjoy Cap KOing Hilter and having a bunch of good looking babes sing along with him? GO AMERICA!

Anybody has found that song on youtube? i cant find it anywhere,i wanna see Cap punching Hitler in the face again oh,am i the only disapointed that Cap didnt do this upon waking up in 2011? imageshack.us/photo/my-images/246/ult339fu.jpg/imageshack.us/photo/my-images/317/ultimates03090fn.jpg/

I didn't mind the musical number. The entire point was to show that's how Rogers gained such confidence and charisma.

The whole point of his tour built his confidence, charisma, and turned him into a symbol to the American PUBLIC. Obviously, soldiers on the front lines seeing the brutality of war didn't care for that pointless glitz and glammor from a guy. They needed something to believe in, and a male actor from the US wasn't going to give them any hope.

Musical number = best part of the movie.
And the rest was great, too. ;D

I thought Tommy Lee Jones was the best part.
"He's still skinny." "I'm not kissin' ya." etc.

I liked the fact that Steve grew so comfortable traveling around the U.S. and performing the act for civilians and then was not prepared for the reaction he received while performing at the front. I also think the reaction he got was part of what pushed him towards his decision to step-up and take action. This was all very important to his character development on a number of levels IMO.
