Writer: Duane Swierczynski Artist: Jason Pearson This trade paperback collects Wade Wilson's War issues #1-4. It is a Marvel Knights production. You may be familiar with the author as he was a long time writer of Cable. The artist is Jason Pearson who's been the artist for several covers of the regular Deadpool series. This is a completely bizarre comic. The main premise is Deadpool giving a report in front of a United States Senate committee. He claims to have been a member of a special black ops team called Weapon X. His teammates were Domino, Silver Sable & Bullseye. The team performed black ops missions all over the world including Mexico, Afghanistan and Nicaragua. The Senate committee questions Deadpool's recounts of these missions. According to his sources these activities never took place. Thoughts: This might be the most bizarre issue I've reviewed so far. It reminds me of the movie Sucker Punch, If you've seen the movie then it has a similar ending. It leaves you wondering if these events actually took place or if they were the psychotic ramblings of a mental patient named Wade Wilson. The art is equally as chaotic as the issue itself. 6/10 I don't know what kind of a mood I was in when I bought this. Maybe I'm also experiencing delusions.
