Written by: Daniel Way Art: Carlo Barberi & Walden Wong Institutionalized Part One In the previous arc, Deadpool was determined to meet his maker. He went to quite a bit of trouble to piss off the Incredible Hulk and speed up the process. However, after the Hulk literally punched him into liquid waste he wakes up to find himself in a mental hospital in England. The leading psychiatrist at the hospital, Ellen Whitby has a very vested interest in Mr Wilson. In fact, she claims that he was the reason she became a psychiatrist in the first place. She goes to great lengths to make his stay at the hospital a pleasant one. She even goes so far as to give Deadpool the freedom to walk freely among his fellow patients. This goes about as well as you can expect. Deadpool has a problem with the rest of the inmates supposedly staring at him and goes on a rampage. This leaves a dozen or so of them injured and among them is a serial killer called the Foolkiller, who plans on extracting some vengeance on the Merc With A Mouth. Thoughts: This issue is a bit more serious than the Deadpool I'm used to reading by Daniel Way. It was actually a pleasant surprise in what's a pretty decent issue. Most of the dialogue with the doctors concerning Wade was well done and I'm anxious to see what happens in the next issue between Wade and Foolkiller. 6/10

Thanks for the review. I dropped this title a few months back. This issue doesn't sound too bad, but it's not enough to make me want to jump back in.

Is this the first of a new story arc? If so, I'll give it a chance based on the review.
