Not sure to be honest. Sometimes, you hardly sound older than I am. Other times, you do. This probably has to do with your usually calm disposition. If it makes you feel better, even in real life, nobody has ever guessed my age correctly. I don't tell anyone my age in real life either; yes, I like screwing with people. ;D I see. I concur that Traviss has an aptitude for writing Mandalorians more intriguingly than the majority of other EU writers. My problem with her arises in how she writes Force sensitives. She is utterly devoid of understanding pertaining to the concept of the Force and Jedi/Sith differentials, which causes out of character issues. As well, she seems to lowball Force sensitives at times to portray the Mandalorians as more impressive than they are. Then there is her admission of the fact that she never conducts research before writing a book. Have you ever read The Rise and Fall of Darth Vader or The Life and Legend of Obi-Wan Kenobi or any of the other related books? That's fair. I think she writes the character's personalities well, but she does indeed make Force users weaker than they should be. But I felt that, of the three writers in LotF, she portrayed Jacen the best. She made him into a tragic anti hero instead of a straight-forward villain. I still think he was an anti-hero. I don't think he was completely wrong. I have the former on my shelf and I have not read it. I might have the second; not sure.

Quite the master manipulator. That's fair. I think she writes the character's personalities well, but she does indeed make Force users weaker than they should be. I don't think he was completely wrong. I have the former on my shelf and I have not read it. I might have the second; not sure. Fair enough. I was curious because I recently ordered the Vader one as well as A New Hope: The Life of Luke Skywalker. So I should be reading those within the next few weeks. Favorite fiction author not related to Star Wars?

Favorite fiction author not related to Star Wars? For graphic novels / comics, it's probably Neil Gaiman or Grant Morrison. Since my favorite single comic series is written by Gaiman, I'd say him. But I have read more of Morrison's work. For novels, and this will sound cliche, I have to say Victor Hugo because of the Hunchback of Notre Dame, which is my single favorite book.

Copying your question: If you were given the chance to turn any single EU work into a live action movie / show, what would it be? You'd be given pretty much complete control; you'd have Lucas' place here.

That or make Tales of the Jedi into a TV mini series. Favorite Mandalorian? (not counting Jango and Boba) Kal Skirata, Canderous Ordo, or any of the Nulls - particularly Ordo. Yes, he was named after Canderous.

Copycat. Well, you copied (part of) my answer. So we're even. 1. When will you start reading FotJ? 2. Favorite historical event to read about (if you have one)? 3. Will you ever respond on our Vader/Streen thread? Remember, the sooner we finish that, the sooner we can move on to other threads we have planned.

If all plans go accordingly, I may actually read it after Plagueis. First Revan, then Plagueis, and then FotJ. Least that's what I intend to do. 2. World War II or Medieval history. Don't have a specific event in mind. Just the events that occurred during those times. 3. I will. Been busy; I know, tired yet honest excuse. Probably tomorrow.

I intend on getting: Teen Titans Outsiders (this has Roy and Jason, right?) Dark JLA Batman and/or Detective Comics Possibly New Guardians and/or Red Lantern. I'm not sure. Do you own any Star Wars memorabilia? Signed autograph of Peter Mayhew, two FX lightsabers (Ep. III Anakin and Ep. VI Luke, to be specific), and a lot of other random things.

Could you give me a little background on Galaxiesandcomics? It's basically just a fansite for comics and sci-fi. A very relaxed community, for the most part. Michael Cera plays a teen/early twenties guy trying to lose his virginity/get laid - can you name the movie? Nope. What did you think of the DC/Marvel movies released this year? In order: X-Men: First Class - Good. I really liked this movie. Thor - Pretty good. Captain America - Alright. I had a lot of complaints. Green Hornet - Just call it the "Kato" movie. I'd have been fine with it if they didn't make Green Hornet actually hold his own against Kato when they fought. Green Lantern - Piece of crap. My favorite movie this year was Rise of the Planet of the Apes, though.

I meant to ask about what led to its development, if there is really much tell that is. X-Men: First Class - Good. I never saw Cap, unfortunately, but I want to. I more or less agree with your analysis on these though. First Class was good, Thor was good, Green Hornet was good, GL was bad. Thor was probably my favorite out of them.

We were one of many spin-off fansites. Many of them were because of the mods; some people hated the mods there because they were "too strict." I didn't think it was that bad, but there was the occasional fault. Still, I did make a fansite just because I wanted to and I was in a group of people who I liked. Marvel was ridden with glitches and, eventually, the vets just left the website. I had 10,000+ posts there way back when. But if you look me up now, it says 0. They reset everything. Today, we've become a mixed group from other websites.

Never knew you had an account there. 1. Favorite movie genre? 2. You ever read any E. A. Poe stories? 3. Favorite Sith between Sidious, Maul, Tyranus, and Vader? 4. Best subject in school? Worst? 5. Do you read any Spider-Man titles on a consistent basis? If not, why not? 6. Have you ever been overseas? 7. Rise of the Empire, Rebellion, or New Republic era: which one of the three do you prefer? 8. If you could become a troll for a day without being banned, how would you troll the forums?

EVERYONE was a Marvel fanboy, and I was the only one ( the only one) who knew a single thing about Star Wars. The ONLY ONE. 1. Drama, I guess. Maybe action. 2. Of course. I like Poe's work. I particularly like the Raven. 3. Palpatine. 4. English. 5. Nope. OMD killed Spider-Man for me. 6. No, but I'd like to visit other nations. I'd particularly like to go to Italy and maybe England - the latter mostly so I can try to develop an accent (sounds stupid, but I don't care) 7. Hmm.... I guess Rise of the Empire. Rebellion never really interested me much. I love Thrawn, but Bane, Republic, and Dark Times tip the scales for me. 8. I'd probably be either a hardcore Lucas fanboy, or I'd go around disagreeing with myself.

What was the most ridiculous thing you ever saw someone post on the Marvel battle forums (that you can remember)? Is this for best subject or worst? 5. Nope. OMD killed Spider-Man for me. As mostly everyone knows, I absolutely abhor OMD, and I had some issues with BND and some other following stories. But there have been some good arcs since then, in case you ever decide to start reading Spidey titles again. 8. I'd probably be either a hardcore Lucas fanboy, or I'd go around disagreeing with myself. LOL.
