UPDATE: Well, that didn't take very long, as we now know who these mysterious characters are. Marvel has released another image and brief description of this new team "The Forgiven." (click)  "Witness the debut of the Forgiven – the Marvel Universe’s only hope at stopping the Hulk during Fear Itself." FEAR ITSELF: HULK VS. DRACULA #1 Release: September 14th --Seems like these characters may actually be vampires. What do you think? Marvel has let out three teaser images for something coming in September. They look to be new characters, possibly even a new team. The common connecter is the phrase, "Who Are The Forgiven?". Check them out below. Who are the Forgiven?    Marvel/CBR/Newsarama Also, the guy in the first image is in this "Battle Scars" promo, post Fear Itself.  |

I have no idea who they are but if I were to give a guess, I would say the girl might be Frenzy. Her quote seems like something she would say and she is on a whole "must be a hero" kick lately.

The first two look bad ass. I'm thinking they are new characters, but I'd like to read about them and see what they are all about. Looks like they are already integrating the first guy into the Avengers post-Fear Itself.
I'm intrigued from the cool designs.

I hope they turn out as bad ass as they look. Not so interested in contestant #3, but #1 and #2 have potential in my eyes. #1 is obviously going to be a martial arts bad ass with either enchanted blades or some kind of energy/TK power. #2 is going to be more of a bruiser/power type I would imagine. #3 look like a weird version of Storm.
