Writer: James Patrick Artist: Agustin Padilla Features: Green Arrow & Haley Donovan Green Arrow teams up with Federal Marshall Haley Donovan to track down Reverend Billy Miggs.. Miggs is the leader of a paramilitary religious group that's intent on assassinating 3 US Senators. Miggs reminds me of William Stryker of classic X-Men fame. The Action:All 3 of these issues are action packed. Miggs' troops are equipped with armored battle suits which makes Green Arrow's feats here all the more impressive. He wages a one man war against these troops and definitely shows off some of his accuracy and skills. He also receives a few upgrades from Batman that are fun additions to his quiver of weapons. The Art:Padilla does a great job. The covers and interiors are outstanding for all three issues. I was not previously familiar with his work but I am definitely a fan now. The Story:It's a simple story but it fits well in this three issue arc. There's not a dull moment and we get to see some very cool things through the eyes of Mr. Oliver Queen. The Finale Verdict:This is a fun little arc and a nice finish for Green Arrow before the massive reboot later this month. It probably will be forgotten sooner rather than later but I still enjoyed it. 7/10
