Batman: Gates of Gotham #1-5
Written by Scott Snyder & Kyle Higgins Art by Trevor McCarthy
Dick Grayson teams up with Damian, Cassandra Cain and Red Robin to take down the newest threat to Gotham in the form of the Architect. A villain who's trademark is blowing up bridges and local buildings that are attached to some of Gotham's finest families. The families related are the Waynes, the Elliots and the Cobblepots. This of course ties in to the descendants of these families in Bruce Wayne, The Penguin and Hush.
The Architect is the descendant of two brothers named Anders wo worked with Gotham's founding projects on the construction of some of the same buildings that he's targeted in the present. He wears a deep sea diving suit that offers him great physical strength due to its davanced hydraulics.
Thoughts: This is a pretty solid arc and everything tied together pretty nicely. The Bat family dynamic is pretty good in this one with the exception of Damian who it seems is only here to antagonize the other members. The art isn't great but goes pretty well with some of the flashbacks to the 1800s. All in all, a pretty decent mini that's only 5 issues.
Score: 3/5

You don't like the art!!! Dustin Nguygen!!! I love his style of artwork. Derec Donovan did the not so good parts. But that's because they had to rush it a bit. I loved it. I'd give it a 4/5.
They treat Tim awesome in this! ;D

The covers were awesome but the interior art didn't measure up.

Damn. I picked up the forth issue cause it was the closest to me. He, Nguygen, did issue 4 artwork. Which I loved. McCarthy's artwork is still good.

Ahhh, that explains the differences in the art. McCarthy is decent but Nguyen is very good.
