Deathstroke #1Written by Kyle Higgins: This is just a basic #1 issue to introduce Slade Wilson to new fans. Not much has changed besides a few cosmetic redesigns to his costume and weaponry. I thought this was going to fall into the same category as Green Arrow but Slade saved the issue with his actions at the end. 3/5 Green Lantern #1Written by Geoff Johns The first issue of Green Lantern and it's Sinestro bearing the ring, not Hal Jordan. Not all of the Guardians seem like they're on the same page with this development but they do some convincing to change the naysayer's mind. Hal Jordan is still around and having some problems of his own on Earth. This is one of the few books I've read so far that doesn't seem like there have been any major changes and seems to follow the events of War of the Green Lanterns very closely. 3.5/5 Grifter #1Written by: Nathan Edmondson I'll be honest I've never read an issue involving Grifter and have no idea of how major the character changes are. The art is excellent however and the issue is pretty interesting. We also see that Grifter's brother is a government agent and Grifter has been the victim of a strange experiment by a group of mystery men. He's a fugitive on the run from the government and his brother is assigned to bring him in. 3/5 Suicide Squad #1Written by Adam Glass This is a fun issue and does a great job of introducing new readers to the cast of familiar faces. It also has an interesting twist at the end as we see the new DCnU version of Amanda Waller. Some of the characters involved are strange choices but it should be interesting to see how Glass builds this team's dynamic. 3.5/5 Superboy #1Written by Scott Lobdell This issue may have been the one I enjoyed the most for this week. Superboy is still a clone mixed with Kryptonian and human DNA. However, he's stilll under the supervision of a new scientific group called NOWHERE. They're running a series of tests on him and we see the first results of what happens when he gets upset. We also see a familiar face from the pages of Superman in the form of one Lois Lane. She's interested in getting an expose on NOWHERE and has some working undercover for her. In the final pages we see Superboy's first target outside of this project and its a team he should become very familiar with. 4/5 I really liked this. We saw some familiar faces and I think it did the most in depth job of characterization I've seen so far. I'll definitely keep following it. That's all for right now. I may add a few more titles as I read them.

Why to the original question, regarding outrage over Floyd's facial hair (or potentially lack of).

I find her attractive. How about Cassandra Cain? Same applies to her. Probably Black Canary as well.

Black Canary is'nt intimidating,i'd actually laugh if she was standing in front of me,Cass is only attractive under an artist or 2 but the majority never tried to make her hot and it's understandable cause she is'nt supposed to be sexy.

BC wont be intimidating and then she screams a house down. And then you shit yourself. Some artists do draw her bad. And others draw her sexy.

I concur that Black Canary looks rather laughable. Nothing to do with her skills, her outfit simply screams "stripper", hard to take her seriously when she's dressed like that.
I do like Shiva, though, but as with Cassandra, it depends on who's drawing her.
PS - The conspiracy to omit the stache from the DCnU will not go unchallenged.
