I've lost interest in the show...I'll still watch it, but I just don't really care much anymore.

I loved the last episode. It's just a shame the "next time on" makes it feel like it changed nothing.

I never watch the "Next week on The Walking Dead..." because I feel like they basically sum up the actual episodes, which are basically spoilers.

I wonder why they revealed when a person dies they come back even if not bitten or scratched etc? Because... MEGAMOTHAFUCKINSPOILER!!!!That is how it is in the comics. I personally have a theory that there are actually two strains of the virus. The first is the airborne virus, which has infected everyone on the planet and remains dormant until the host dies; at which point it turns you into a brain muncher. At the time of zombie conversion, the original virus mutates into a blood-borne strain and is then transmitted by things like bites, scratches, etc.

The last episode confused me. Rick was totally in the right for all the choices he made yet everyone turned on him. Lori's reaction to finding out Rick killed Shane in a life or death confrontation is just disgusting. Especially when she is the one that hinted that Rick do it anyway. Before I was a defender of Lori because I thought she was a better character in the show than her comic counter-part but now I just want to see her eat buckshot.
And Carl... Jesus that kid is the cause of all the shitty events in the series. He probably caused the entire apocalypse. This is not just some stupid kid, he is the fucking anti-christ.
I really hope that Andrea becomes a likable character in season 3. Because she is nothing but a stuck up, pretentious, whinny bitch throughout seasons 1 and 2. Which sucks because she is so awesome in the comics.
Daryl, Herhsel, Glenn and Rick are really the only characters I like in the show at this point. I hope Michonne turns out to be just as badass as she is in the comics. I wonder how her meet with the Governor is going to go.

I 100% completely agree with you about their reactions. I said to my friend while he began to tell them "her reaction is going to be of disbelief" and BAM I was right. Now I couldn't give a flying fuck what happens to her or the retard of a kid who made it this way in the fucking first place. I'd be saying to Rick, because I real life I'd have hated Shane as a person, that he did the right thing. He was insane and basically one of them with a almost functioning brain.
Andrea did seem like a bitch, but towards the end of this season she did get better. I wanted to like her. I think I will next season. I already like the chick in the hoody.
It;s funny that the ones you picked for your favourite character are mine, minus herschel. I'm not too bothered about him. I think it's hard for me to choose between Rick and Daryl at this point though.

I like Hershel's struggle. He is a man of faith so his views intrigued me. His line about Jesus raising the dead and how it was not what he thought it was going to be was a moment that made me smile. Then before how he went from a "no one dies, not even the dead" type mentality to watching Rick gun down two rapists in a bar without batting an eyelash was also interesting to see. Rick seemed more torn about it than Hershel did. I like seeing how the apocalypse changes Hershel now that it is effecting him. Before he ignored it, now he is forced to live it.
Glenn is probably the most relatable character as far as in real life. I like that he used to think of it like a video game when he was running for supplies. He would literally volunteer to jump in harms way. Then after meeting that girl, he does a 180 and has a bit of a yellow stripe. Not because he is afraid to die necessarily but because he is afraid of what his death would do to her.
Daryl is just a badass. I like how he is always trying to prove his brother wrong, even though his brother is long gone. Yet at the same time, he idolizes his brother. My original theory was that the brother was going to become the governor but that has been debunked. I am still extremely confident that the brother is going to test Daryl's allegiances at some point. It is too juicy of a story to miss. The Sophia story showed that he does care about the group, despite him going out of the way to prove otherwise. Kind of an anti-hero. The Wolverine back when Wolverine was cool. He believes in Rick and trusts him. Now he has that old crazy girl whispering in his ear to drive a wedge between him and Rick. I want that girl to commit suicide already.
Rick is the ultimate good guy. How many times did he give Shane a chance to not be a crazy? Far too many for his own good. The fact that he just got tired of seeing Shane avoid every opportunity to change back into a human being and save his own life does not discredit all that. He cares about the group. Not only that but people that are not even his group if he gets the right vibe from them. He is the Captain America of the group.

I was hoping to be wrong about their reactions. The fact I predicted it made me feel bad because it felt like many things I've seen before. And a zombie apocalypse of this nature shouldn't be something I've seen before. Now almost all of them have to earn back my care.
