Writer: Kyle Higgins Pencils: Eddy Barrows Colors: Rod Reis Inks: JP Mayer The Story:Dick Grayson is back as Nightwing in this opening issue. From the beginning we get a recap of Dick's time as Batman and the effect that has had on his psyche and emotions. Higgins does a great job throughout the story relaying Dick's inner thoughts and how the events of his life has made him the man he is today. He also touches on the differences between Grayson and Bruce Wayne as we learn of a few things that Mr. Grayson isn't in total agreement about with Batman. As Dick reconnects with friends from his time in Haley's Circus he's targeted by a new villain in Gotham that believes Dick Grayson is a murderer. 4/5 The Art:The art team is rock solid. They capture the action in this one very well. 4/5 Overall:This is one of the better DCnU issues I've read so far. It's got action, character insight and a pretty bad ass new villain as the antagonist. 4/5

Nope, seems like he's made it through the reboot relatively unscathed.

I never much cared for Nightwing till this book. Glad I picked it up (I'm a DC n00b, the DCnU is doing its job for me).

Any significant differences from the original? He's crossed over into Marvel and apparently upset Daken. That's about it.

The new villain's moniker is atrocious.
