The Ultimate universe comics are better than DC and most other Marvel comics combined lately with very few exceptions.

Honestly, I'm only excited for 3 of the people on that team. MM, GA and Hawkman.

It's basically Johns' Absolute Justice team from Smallville with a few characters thrown in.

First issue of JLA was very solid, IMO.

Yes, he's their liason/advisor. Sorry I left him out.

Yes, he's their liason/advisor. Sorry I left him out. LOL so he is basically in the same exact role as when he was in the JL? I thought they were going to give him more of a role, make him part of the team or whatever. Bummer.

The original League had him removed due to him constantly being in danger. He was beaten pretty badly by Graves on panel and other villains that have occurred off panel.

Yeah I read up until that point. New headlines read, Steve dumped by Wonder Woman twice!" or something to that effect and Steve went all emo about it for a bit. What I mean is that I was hoping that he had more of an active role on the new team rather than just being the "liaison" or whatever.

From the first issue he's also going to be training some of the younger team members like Stargirl and Vibe. He also recruited Catwoman and they had a pretty nice fight.

For anyone that read the issue, any idea who the other villain was from the first page? The same conversation took place in Justice League #6, IIRC.
