I read one run of JLA and it was awesome. Had Kyle, Wally, Orion, Plastic Man, and all kinds of awesome.

JLA is one of the best comic teams. I make a point to read as many Justice League titles as possible, and for the most part, they are all awesome.

I confess to not reading much of the recent team's history. Is it any good?

I confess to not reading much of the recent team's history. Is it any good? Not really, no. Dwayne McDuffie's run is probably the lowest point of book for at least the last twenty years. It has supposedly improved with James Robinson coming on board, but I haven't read enough of that to know.

I've read the opening arc by Morrison, the one with Nebulon and Grodd. It was pretty cool.

Phantom Stargrave: JLA Classified is an interesting series. Since each arc is written by a different writer, there is a fair amount of variety presented. A few of the arcs in the series as a whole were just meh. For the most part though, Classified is a good read.
