"Teen Spirit" Writer: Scott Lobdell Penciller: Brett Booth Inker: Norm Rapmund The Story:All over the DC universe teenage metahumans are popping up. In typical teenage fashion they're bullheaded, arrogant and reckless. This issue is all about their actions and the repercussions from their actions. We see a series of arrests all over the world of these teenagers and we also see Kid Flash accidentally cause a flaming apartment building to explode. Tim Drake has seen enough and has decided to join some of these kids together as a team. We see a photograph that flashes back to his days as Robin and his team up with Dick Grayson as Batman. He's approached by a man working for N.O.W.H.E.R.E. (the same group in Superboy #1) who wants to recruit Tim to work for him. Tim politely tells him to stick it and sets off to assemble his team. 3.5/5The Art: The art is perfectly acceptable. I wouldn't call it bad and I wouldn't call it great. Tim & Cassie's new costumes take a little bit to get used to and Kid Flash's costume is laughable with kneepads and his pants being baggy. 3/5Overall:This issue ties in pretty well with Superboy #1. Lobdell is the writer for both series so it's not surprising. This was a solid book and I'll check out issue #2. 6.5/10

I went in with low expectations and ended up liking it a good deal. It's more in line with the Justice League trope, since it doesn't really introduce a lot of the TT members, and we only get a more thorough look at three of them. But it was still a solid effort, and I like the intersection with Superboy's title. It's not necessary to comprehend the plot, but they compliment each other nicely.

Red Robin has a Vulture suit now? Expect Red Robin to take advantage of every water tower and possible loop de loop. None will ever compete with the master, though.
