Warlock is practically the villain of the very mini we are discussing here, so yeah, he'll prove to be alive shortly.
Drax got blown to bits by Thanos. Pssh Magus doesn't count , but I had no idea he was going to be the villian of this arc.

I don't really care about the Magus as a character, but I'd like to see Warlock return. DnA didn't use him well during their previous run.

Issue #2 is in the books. I thought it was really good.

Issue #2 This issue is all about the action. The Avengers arrive at the facility in Colorado to take down the Annihilators. Unknown to them, it's actually a front for the Church of Universal Truth. The Avengers bring some of their heaviest hitters in the form of Iron Man, the Thing, Ms Marvel. Red Hulk and Valkyrie. It's not nearly enough as they still have all kinds of problems with the power levels of the Annihilators. Meanwhile, Spider-Man discovers the truth of what's going on as he and Quasar stumble into a chamber for the villain of the series. The villain has been reborn and it's definitely not what I expected. The art here has the same team as the first issue but it's more visually appealing than the first issue. I'm not sure if the art team simply had a bad day doing the first issue but there's marked improvement here. Overall:This is a fun series and I'm kind of disappointed that it's only 4 issues. This offering was all about the action but it had some nice dialogue between the Avengers and notably Ronan and Gladiator. They touched on some subjects that referenced past events and they were done very well. All in all this issue was better than the first and I am hooked for the rest of this series. The Grade: 8/10
