No one is saying this book is providing amazing story telling, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't find it highly entertaining and damn good to look at. I'm entertained by this book the same way I'm entertained when I pay for a movie ticket only to find the movie is only 20 minutes long, does not have all the actors on the poster in the movie and then ends on a cliffhanger.

I would have liked it better if Superman didn't hit Flash.

Yeah, you don't like it. I get it. But a movie analogy doesn't really apply, seeing as: A) The movie is intended to be, more-or-less, a full story (unless it's a franchise like LoTR, SW, etc), while a comic book has the luxury of stretching as long as it wishes through numerous issues. Am I saying JL does this well? No, i'm just saying comparing it to a movie isn't the best example. B) Regarding the poster, a good deal of movies would benefit from a reduced cast, especially when it comes to the superhero genre.

Reduced cast or not, you never see a movie or a book or any other form of media putting characters or people on the covers that are not in the story itself.
The only things that do that are pop up ads and comic books.

The cover to my issue 2 had Bats, Hal & Superman.

And that's because of the aforementioned reason. Obviously we'll see that full roster by issue 5 or 6 (seeing as 4 has WW, 5 has Aquaman, and we can only assume we'll see him become Cyborg in any of those).
You don't like the book, that's fine. But a cover for a comic book being misleading is something that has happened for decades now and isn't really a major hindrance to me.

Yeah but it was usually Wolverine to blame.
Like I notice it a lot in marvel books, not so much in DC books.
I mean, it doesn't matter that much cause I don't care about Wonder Woman or Aquaman but I was pretty disappointed that issue 1 didn't have the Flash in it since Geoff Johns + Flash was one of the things this book has going for it....not that Johns recent Flash stories have been spectacular but he did a great run with Wally so one could hope and one could be disappointed.
I know. I'm crazy for holding comic books to high standards.

Misleading covers are hardly limited to Wolverine books, but okay.
Having a complaint doesn't mean you have "high standards," in fact, most people AGREE with the major complaint (slow moving). It's the issue you have with "misleading covers" that I disagree with as being a major factor.

QFT I agree that this book is not the greatest book out there but it is not really as bad as most people are saying. Plus even if writing-wise it was completely crap, just looking at how good Jim Lee's art is makes up for some of it.

Nobody's saying Jim Lee's art isn't awesome, as long as he remembers to draw all body parts on the characters.
