What series or story arcs have you read, from any publisher, that you expected to be bad going in but enjoyed when you finished?
For me:
-Daredevil: Guardian Devil: I expected this series to be of fairly poor quality because Kevin Smith wrote it, and I never liked his writing very much. Contrary to my preconception, it was actually a very good read.
-Infinite Crisis (main miniseries): I had relatively low expectations for this because of Superboy Prime. It was better than I expected though; not amazing but decent enough.
-Boba Fett: Death, Lies, and Treachery: I just heard very low reviews about this series. Not the best Boba series out there but certainly not as terrible as I heard.
