Ever watch a horror film and just sigh at how not threatening the big scary monster is? Well here is a thread for you to post it here! After watching Troy Nexey's, Don't be Afraid of the Dark, my pick is the threatening group of Tooth-fairies. These tooth-fairies came off as just about the most least frightening / threatening movie monsters I've seen in a fairly long time( if ever). He is a wee tiny little lad under the sheets, screaming at the sight of a flash light. They fumble through the house, grab makeshift weapons and spend much of the film failing to kill a little girl despite having her cornered half a dozen times. Hell she actually starts scoring a few kills on them near the end of the film as her half-wit father sits immobilized by these pranksters that for some odd reason obsess with trying to poke him with the same sharp object throughout the film. The only time they can seemingly pose a threat to anyone if you dumb enough to sit right in front of their little cave, outside that even when they get you down on the ground and stab you a dozen times, they still have trouble killing you. Maybe it's just me, but when I feel the only thing needed to put down a bunch of monsters is a pair of boots and a flash light, I can't help but feel not frightened.

Freddy from Nightmare on Elm Street, what a powerless loser. In the early films he can be quite menacing. Which can't be said for who I find the worst, Chucky from Child's Play. There is nothing scary about him and it honestly seems like plot is killing characters, not Chucky himself.

Mike Myers. He must have a scooter near by all the time because time and time again I see people running away from him and yet he catches them whilst walking.

I loved the Blob. The second remake anyway. I think I was told a while back that Rob Zombie is remaking it soon.

In the early films he can be quite menacing. I disagree, he was laughable at best.

um... all of them. Horror movies aren't scary. It doesn't have to be from a horror film and every film monster being placed into the category of your least frightening one makes you quite a fearless individual.

To put it simply: I'm the Goddamn Batman. Why should I be afraid of a monster, real or otherwise?

To put it simply: I'm the Goddamn Batman. Why should I be afraid of a monster, real or otherwise? He's luring them into a false sense of security. It's an extremely valid tactic.
