Writer: Ed Brubaker Penciller: Butch Guice Colorist: Elizabeth Breitweiser The Story: Bucky Barnes is back and starring in his own monthly series. With Natasha Romanov at his side they are on the trail of some Soviet sleeper agents. The question is who is controlling them and what their intentions are. Bucky and Natasha have their usual great chemistry in this one. Brubaker delivers a great blend of espionage, action and mystery for upcoming issues. The art is gritty, realistic and fits the story perfectly. Brubaker seems to be focusing on Bucky's inner sense of self worth and the fact that he feels responsible for what is going on with the sleeper agents. All in all, this is a very good opening issue and definitely has me hooked for hat's to follow. It's also reasonably priced at only $2.99 compared to some of Marvel's less than stellar $3.99 offerings. 4/5 So far so good!
