Elektra and FF:ROTSS were both Fox films. Punisher (Thomas Jane) was a Lionsgate film and I believe Punisher:War Journal was Lionsgate and Marvel Studios. All 4 of which weren't very good IMO. I know which studios made which movies. That doesn't fucking matter one wit to my statement. All of these studios have all made good movies, didn't stop them from putting out these stinkers. Past success is no indication of future success (Star Wars prequels anyone?) That they've managed to make 6 movie that were not stinkers is no indication whatsoever that they might not make a stinker in the future.

Another ignorant and angry post from Crom that's full of negativity. We are talking about Marvel Stidios making movies based on their own properties. Not some big-name studio purchasing a Marvel property or a script from some screenwriter. Again 6 good movies in 6 tries is by definition a solid track record. To say that "past success is no indication of future succes" is absolutely not true. It's certainly not a guarantee of future success, but it can absolutely be used to establish a track record and set expectations. Your constant railing against Marvel and almost anything else mainstream is wearing thin. We get it, you don't like Marvel. Furthermore..... Hey, the worst movies Marvel Studios has given us so far are Iron Man 2 and the Incredible Hulk. And even they are a solid step above the majority of other superhero movies.Which considering this is a list that includes: Elektra, Rise of the Silver Surfer and Punisher doesn't say much. They've done some acceptable work, but that isn't any indication that we should trust them on future projects. Nor that we should be surprised if they ever churn out a stinker. .....Nexuspower clearly stated "Marvel Studios" in his post. You came back and listed three movies based on Marvel properties that were NOT done by Marvel Studios as your rebuttal. It's not a difficult conclusion to draw that you were unaware of what studios did what films based on YOUR response. Your attitude is wholly unwelcome.

To say that "past success is no indication of future succes" is absolutely not true. It's certainly not a guarantee of future success, but it can absolutely be used to establish a track record and set expectations. No, it just can't. Marvel comics created these characters. By this logic, putting out stinkers shouldn't happen. Yet it does it. Bad comics come out all the time (regardless of there being good ones published). Previous success is no indication of future success. What matters if who and how actually works on a movie and whether or not if the person hired and is competent, that he is allowed to actually do his work without other factors preventing success intervening. Your attitude is wholly unwelcome. Not as much as these uncalled for insults with clear indication that you didn't actually read my post. I didn't insult anybody. You have no reason to either. It is clear you only made a cursory read of my comment, then got angry. And you misinterpreted it. I italicized super-hero movies to indicated UI was talking of super-hero movie in general when speaking of quality of super-hero movie not specifically marvel studio movies. Instead of getting angry because you don't like my comment. Read them and make sure you understand them. Either way, your anger is unwarranted.

I started to type out a long response to what you just said, then I realized it's just not worth it. Wish I could say I look forward to reading more of your negative and condescending posts, but I don't.
