Community is one of my favorite shows ever............ but seriously WHAT THE CRAP Marvel. These guys direct comedy. Not superhero action.

When I said, "In Marvel Studios I trust", I didn't mean for that to be taken as a challenge.

Certainly an odd choice, but I'll wait to see interviews with him before any outcry.

Unless he directed the paint ball episodes of Community. That'll be the only action he's done.

I'll wait to get more information before I comment on this further. I will say this though, In Marvel Studios I Trust.

I don't trust movie studios. It's like trusting that creepy dude with a van to safely watch 3 year olds.

Marvel Studios has put out 6 straight very solid movies in my opinion. I say they've earned the trust. Likening them to a creep with a kidnapper van watching small children play is a bit of a stretch.

They've done some acceptable work, but that isn't any indication that we should trust them on future projects. Nor that we should be surprised if they ever churn out a stinker.

Punisher (Thomas Jane) was a Lionsgate film and I believe Punisher:War Journal was Lionsgate and Marvel Studios. All 4 of which weren't very good IMO.

I really liked the Hulk film with Norton. Of course it did have Liv Tyler so that's an automatic plus for me....

For the record I think there is some confusion going on here. Marvel Studios has only made 6 films to date.
Iron Man (2008) The Incredible Hulk (2008) Iron Man 2 (2010) Thor (2011) Captain America: The First Avenger (2011) The Avengers (2012)
If that's not a solid track record then I don't know what is. All other movies bases on Marvel properties have been done by other studios where Marvel does not maintain creative control.
X-Men movies, all 5 of them (Fox) Fantastic Four 1 & 2 (Fox) Daredevil (Fox) Elektra (Fox) Ghost Rider 1 & 2 (Sony) Spider-Man trilogy (Sony) Blade Trilogy (New Line) Punisher & Punisher: War Zone (Lion's Gate) Hulk (Universal)
I also believe that Marvel Studios now has the right back to the Punisher. Hopefully we can get a better movie made now.

As far as the non-Marvel Studio films, only X-Men 1&2 and Spidey 1&2 were decent flicks, IMO. The others have been borderline crap to truly awful.

I mostly agree, but I also have to add X-Men: First Class to your list. I enjoyed most of the others (and own them all), but they're definitely not great movies. Elektra and Hulk are the two worst IMO.
