It's pretty decent right now, focusing on Lex Luthor and Vandal Savage, the Secret Six are suppose to appear in #896

That's one for Paul Cornell. I had a list to read. And I read Action Comics, #890 and I read the following 4 parts and waiting to read the newest one. I'm loving it.

Luthor is great, I'm loving his series so far. I agree, Luthor has been one of the better characters in DC for a while now, I know it probably won't happen but it would be nice if they let Action Comics be a Lex series for a little while. It isn't like Supes has any shortage of appearances right now

That's weird because as of this moment the latest issue is #896. I think that quote might be a few months too early. Unless they just release the next 4 issues in Jan

Its been very good ,but i'm annoyed at the salvation run reference . I'm annoyed at Vandal Savage's entire plan of trying to lure Luthor to his lair for years on end. It seemed... Awkward. Other than that, I have no complaints on it. Did anyone read Action Comics annual?

Yeah i read the annual, but didnt like darkseids characterization,i mean ho ho????serioulsy.and bringing up salvation run was a very bad mistake in the first place but actually claiming it took place only months ago when in reality it should have been atleast 2 years has resulted in a unceremonious plothole.

I suppose your mileage may vary on that. I found it to be closest anyone's ever gotten to Kirby's original Darkseid. Yeah, it is kinda silly by today's terms, but the surreality of it is exactly how Kirby wrote back in the day.

Kirby wrote darkseid like a greedy baby?

Greedy baby? Elaborate. I really don't see what you mean.I was talking about the blend of camp and surrealism seen in the book.

What i meant was that i didnt like uxas just sitting in his chair and picking up that gun like a moron. Oh I see. Well you can look at it like that. But I figured it was just confidence. Darkseid knows there isn't a damn thing on Apokolips that can hurt him. And he's right. Lex simply had no idea how deep over his head he is.
