Alright, I'm shamelessly following the idea of some of the others on here. Ask away.

We all know you love Marvel, but who are your 3 favorite DC characters and why?

I've honestly read very little DC stuff as an adult. Probably only 30 or so total issues in the last 5 years. Probably half of those were Green Lantern books and i really enjoyed them so I'd have to go with Hal Jordan as #1. I read a lot of Batman as a kid so I'd have to say Bruce Wayne for #2. #3 is based purely on what I've seen on the big screen and I'm going to just throw The Watchmen out there as a whole. I absolutely love that movie and I've been thinking about picking up the TPB lately. My DC knowledge is very limited.

If you had to move from California, (you're assured a job wherever you go) where would you move with your family and why?

North Texas. I dated a woman that lived there for about 2.5 years and spent a lot of time there from 2007 to 2009. The weather sucks but I fell in love with it anyway. My best friend lives there too. He moved there from here in 2005 and introduced me to my ex when i was out for a visit. He lives in Lewisville and my ex lived in Denton.

I've only been to the Fort Worth region once.
Who are 3 Marvel characters that you think deserve an ongoing (but obviously don't have one)?

I've only been to the Fort Worth region once. I really liked Fort Worth the 2 or 3 times I went there. Who are 3 Marvel characters that you think deserve an ongoing (but obviously don't have one)? 1. X-23 - I was very disappointed when Marjorie Liu's ongoing got cancelled a few months back. Laura has become one of my favorite characters this past year. 2. Spider Woman (Jessica Drew) - She's a BADASS. The Bendis / Maleev 7 issue Agent of S.W.O.R.D. run from right after Secret Invasion had so much potential. I'd definitely like to see her character explored a lot more. 3. Magneto - He's Magneto. As long as its better than that Not A Hero mini that just ended, I'll be happy.

Steve Rogers, Bucky Barnes and Clint Barton are dead. The world needs a Captain America... so who wields the shield?

Wow, that's a really tough question. A handful of names came to mind, including Frank Castle, Johnny Storm and Matt Murdock. Even Scott Summers would have been included as a possible if I didn't think he'd gone off the deep end lately. A mutant Captain America would be something to see.
In the end though I have to say I think Carol Danvers fits the mold and should "wield the shield."
Yes, I said it, a female Captain America.

LOL.
All of the X-Men are alive. You can create your dream 5 person team for a title. Who makes the cut and why?

Off the top of my head.............
Magneto - The X-Men need a powerful and mature leader. I think he's just the man for the job.
Wolverine - Let's face it, he's the best there is at what he does, even if what he does isn't very nice. Also he gets major props for keeping X-Force going behind Scott's back. Oh and he heals.
Emma Frost - Scantily clad and extremely powerful telepath with a checkered past? Yes please.
Namor - 70% of the Earth is covered by water and he rules the oceans. Nuff said. Plus Emma needs someone to bang.
X-23 - I love her and if you don't then you don't know what you're talking about.
Wait, did I say that last part out loud?
Oh yeah, and I think they are all willing to kill if they need to.

Scarlet Witch does some weird magical nonsense and now Marvel only has 2 writers and 2 artists. Who are they and why?

Writers: Ed Brubaker and Matt Fraction. They're two of my favorites and I think they've done an incredible job with Steve and Tony for the last several years.
Artists: Salvador Larocca and Alex Maleev. I like Larocca's hyper-realistic style for the big stories with The Avengers and X-Men and I like Maleev's style for gritty street level stories and characters.

Probably not as it comes out, but if I hear good things I'll buy it in TPB when it comes out. My Pull List is pretty full right now and I'm already thinking about adding the new Captain Marvel book. Not too happy about the change, but I'm a big fan of Carol Danvers so I can't help myself.
