Landed in the US on Aug 1st using my new visa. So many big changes in such a short period of time (getting married etc). Start the new job this week as well.

Now's your chance to learn to drive on the CORRECT side of the road! Oh, and while you're at it, make sure to buy a shotgun and buy at least half of your meals from either Burger King or Starbucks. You know, for the real American experience.

The I.Q of America just went up for the first time since we left it. Haha! I like it. I am based outside Chicago, near Aurora and Joliet and yes I have to take a written and actual driving test.....at the age of 40 for petes sake. Got a pay rise for the new job so that's nice. Was at work today for the first day and it was a big change.

Make sure to get some of Chicago's famous deep-dish pizza while you're there

Very cool. I went to Boot Camp in Great Lakes and got to spend a little time in Chicago. Be sure to check out a Cubs game at Wrigley Field!

Both good ideas, a deep dish pizza and a cubs game. Well if any of you plan to get out to Chicago area in the future, let me know.

The I.Q of America just went up for the first time since we left it. Third time, the second time didn't last long it was from 1812-1814 when we Canadians pushed back their invasion, shot straight to Washington and burned down the white house before going home. Another reason why we didn't have to go to war to become independent

Didn't realize you "Canadians" had time travel tech. considering you weren't even an official country until 1867. 1867 was the date of our Confederation. Canada existed before that as Upper Canada and Lower Canada both since 1791. Canadians have been calling themselves Canadians since before the seven year wars. And that's why americans fail at history
