I'll be still interested. But I'd probably want to change a few things in my character and such.

Alright, I'll get workin' on that now. I wish more people who voted in the poll add on to the discussion. Looks like we got two votes while I wasn't looking.

I think you should get the votes from the people that discussed. Because people might just have pressed it but have no plan on taking part.

Someone's gonna have t'help me come up with a better name than Myths of Our Time. Just sounds cheesy to me. Any ideas, or we cool with that?

Depends on where you want the story to go.

Just the Royal Knights. They're off limits for now, but later on we'll let them come in. As for the story direction, pretty much what we agreed on in this thread. Focus on both digimon and humans, but the setting'll probably be more in the human world for now.

Would it be okay if I don't reveal my Ultimate level yet? I don't mind revealing up to my Perfect level.

You mean in your character creation? It really doesn't matter. I mean, it's not like what it'll have any real effect on the actual story. You can keep it a secret, just PM me the line.

Okay. I'd prefer to keep most things a secret besides the obvious.

It's all good. Well, I think I've wasted more than enough time of my day on this thing, so I'm gonna hold off on a lil' while before gettin' things started fo' real fo' real. Maybe tomorrow I'll have my character made up and we can get to doin' stuff. Feel free to make your first post in the thread if you post your profile in the character thread of course.

Just want to make absolutely clear before I post my character profile. Is this my story I'm telling, or do I need to go in a certain direction?

As far as your character is concerned, it is entirely your thing--your story, but keep in mind, the nature of a good role play is to have all the participants cooperate in such a manner that it becomes everyone's story. Try not to make your character so set in whatever story you have planned for him that you exclude him from any and all interactions from the other characters in the RP. Otherwise, you'd just be writing a fan fiction on your own. When the actual RPing takes place, your character is going to be a character in whatever over-arching story that takes place. Of course, you can have him branch off on his own little side quests on occasion, but you have to have him work with other people in the RP as well.
Like when you make your first post in the RP, you'll have to incorporate him reading over the intro "blog post" in some form or fashion if he's a human who lives in the real world.

I'm in, I just don't have a lot of knowledge on Digimon save from what I remember from my kid days.
I have a question though, will the digi vice a evolution sequence be shown in the RPG?

Oh wow, somehow I completely overlooked the Digivice thing in making the profile skeleton. To answer your question, yes, if you're going to have a human with a Digimon partner, a Digivice will be used to have him evolve.
As for you not knowing much about Digimon, that is absolutely alright. My goal for this RP is to make it accessible to anyone. It's going to be set in its own universe, with its own story that we all work on creating. No prior knowledge of the show, cards, or games are needed. The only relation this thing has with the Digimon franchise are talking monsters that come out of some other universe.
The entire premise of this story is that mythological/legendary/folkloric creatures exist, and for some reason, they're starting to appear on Earth.

Cool. Love the end sentence. I like building legends.
How about for the title, Digital Monsters: Legends?

Ha, that's actually the name of the first fanfic I ever wrote. Digimon: Legends. I don't have a problem with it. I just slightly updated the character thread to include a digivice color for the human part.

Good, I'm glad to be of service I'm having trouble finding a starting Digimon. I want either a water or Ice based digimon, as that is my thing. If not that, a female flying digimon. Help please?
