He is then halted by a demon who tries to harm him by getting him to put his hands in a cauldron of molten lead to get the red stone of entry into Izanami's house . Lucifer # 7 :
Lucifer and Tsuki-Yomi are ambushed by Kagatsuchi near the Windowless Rooms . Tsuki-Yomi pleads with his brother not to do this as Lucifer is a guest but his advice falls on deaf ears as kagatsuchi blindly charges at Lucifer with the 3-named sword . However , Lucifer had poisoned Kagatsichi's drink during the feast previously and this causes Kagatsuchi to get so disoriented in his attack aim that he ends up slashing his own brother Tsuki-Yomi before the poison takes its full effects . Lucifer goads him all the while .

After Kagatsuchi dies as well , Lucifer decides to traverse the Windowless rooms in order to uncover their secret . He leaves Tsuki-Yomi to die an uncomfortable death .

After rescuing Elaine Belloc's spirit from the Mansion of Silences(and destroying that entire place as a result because it was too fragile to hold his presence) , Lucifer decides to repay his debt to Elaine by giving her the option of life . Elaine declines and instead asks to become the guardian of everything in Lucifer's world . Lucifer is at first hesitant as he has forbidden worship in his world but then realizes that having farcial gods would be to his benefit . He transforms Mona Doyle into the Guardian of hedgehogs and ELaine Belloc the Guardian of everything else , thus creating the Sisters of Mercy :

With Yahweh now gone , the titan brothers Gyges and Garamas have now taken his place as the Supreme Being of all Creation . They confront Lucifer and are immune to his power , but not to his cunning and guile . Lucifer is able to trick them into travelling to Effrul(where he revives the Effrul monster Demon to take on the titan brothers) instead of the Silver City . This showcases how Lucifer's wit is capable of making even nigh-omnipotent beings seem incompetent in comparison :

This particular battle feat is to showcase both Lucifer and Michael's badassery even when they're in a weakened state .
Lucifer , Michael and Elaine pursue Fenris the Wolf to Yggdrasil . However they are severely weakened during the journey with Elaine becoming blind as well . Fenris tricks ELaine into feeding some of the Wolf's own blood to Lucifer , thereby bringing him under his mind control . The mind-controlled Lucifer is then engaged by the weakened Michael , and even though it appears in the beginning that Michael is gaining the upper hand , once the dust has settled it's shown that in their tussle Michael's final attack ended up causing more damage to himself rather than Wolf-Lucifer . Michael begins to die as a result and Elaine must contain the demiurgic power now :

Lucifer and Tsuki-Yomi are ambushed by Kagatsuchi near the Windowless Rooms . Tsuki-Yomi pleads with his brother not to do this as Lucifer is a guest but his advice falls on deaf ears as kagatsuchi blindly charges at Lucifer with the 3-named sword . However , Lucifer had poisoned Kagatsichi's drink during the feast previously and this causes Kagatsuchi to get so disoriented in his attack aim that he ends up slashing his own brother Tsuki-Yomi before the poison takes its full effects . Lucifer goads him all the while .

With matters in his favor now , Lucifer forces the Basanos to destroy themselves if they want their offpsring to survive . The Basanos are forced to oblige and it is shown that Jill Presto had been playing a fake act of being hurt all along just to help Lucifer and spite the Basanos :

Lucifer # 41 :
After rescuing Elaine Belloc's spirit from the Mansion of Silences(and destroying that entire place as a result because it was too fragile to hold his presence) , Lucifer decides to repay his debt to Elaine by giving her the option of life . Elaine declines and instead asks to become the guardian of everything in Lucifer's world . Lucifer is at first hesitant as he has forbidden worship in his world but then realizes that having farcial gods would be to his benefit . He transforms Mona Doyle into the Guardian of hedgehogs and ELaine Belloc the Guardian of everything else , thus creating the Sisters of Mercy :

Lucifer # 42 & # 43 :
With Yahweh now gone , the titan brothers Gyges and Garamas have now taken his place as the Supreme Being of all Creation . They confront Lucifer and are immune to his power , but not to his cunning and guile . Lucifer is able to trick them into travelling to Effrul(where he revives the Effrul monster Demon to take on the titan brothers) instead of the Silver City . This showcases how Lucifer's wit is capable of making even nigh-omnipotent beings seem incompetent in comparison :

Just when all seems lost , the ritual which Lucifer had ordered Mazikeen to perform using the same woman that the titans were utilizing as a conduit , the titans are destroyed . Lucifer defeated them by using their own virtue(their transcendence above time) and killing them before they became omnipotent :

Lucifer # 54 :
This particular battle feat is to showcase both Lucifer and Michael's badassery even when they're in a weakened state .
Lucifer , Michael and Elaine pursue Fenris the Wolf to Yggdrasil . However they are severely weakened during the journey with Elaine becoming blind as well . Fenris tricks ELaine into feeding some of the Wolf's own blood to Lucifer , thereby bringing him under his mind control . The mind-controlled Lucifer is then engaged by the weakened Michael , and even though it appears in the beginning that Michael is gaining the upper hand , once the dust has settled it's shown that in their tussle Michael's final attack ended up causing more damage to himself rather than Wolf-Lucifer . Michael begins to die as a result and Elaine must contain the demiurgic power now :

Lucifer meets and has a brief conversation with Yahweh in the Barrowjane . Yahweh makes one last attempt to retain his son by offering to exchange memories and forms with Lucifer as a gift . However Lucifer declines and Yahweh admits that Lucifer has finally escaped his function . Yahweh tells Lucifer to go far and stop for nothing and that Lucifer has his blessing along with his promise too , that he'll never see Yahweh again :
