Here's a place where people can chat about the Plutonian and his title, Irredeemable.

Does anyone read Irredeemable? Is it any good?

Guess I should rephrase that, I would like peoples' opinions on the title.

Well, my opinion is that it's a nice take on the "Superman-archetype goes rouge" fiasco. I'm glad that even though that was it's initial premise, it's grown to be a story of its own instead of just a mini-series. While it's an interesting read, I much prefer Waid's spinoff of the book, Incorruptible.

I hear a lot of people got bored around that time. Having followed it up to now, I still don't think I've gotten bored yet. It doesn't feel like they're running in circles or anything. The characters are still getting proper development, the story still feels like it's progressing, there's still a good bit of plot twists and cliffhangers at the end of each issue to keep me interested in what happens next. Really an' truly, I'm anything but bored.

Hmm ok. I'll check this out because the idea sounds interesting to me, the good guy gone bad isn't really something Ive read before.
I'll make an incorruptible thread and we can chat about it there. I'd like to hear more about it, max damage and his sleep based powers are pretty wild...and inconvenient.

Ah, it's finally upon us. The start of the Incorruptible/Irredeemable crossover. We got a look at Plutonian's origin. So happy.
