It's not moreso "dislike" than "hate" but I'm really not a fan of Alex Ross. It's a common complaint, but I really do find his art, however technically capable it is and beautiful in commissioned pieces, to be really boring for a comic. His characters look so motionless and static and it's one of the reasons why I haven't read Kingdom Come yet because his art puts me off. *picks up a pitchfork and riles up the villagers* BURN THE WITCH! But seriously, read kingdom come. It really is awesome.

I understand what you mean (Phantom pretty much agrees with your view of Ross), but Kingdom Come is a great read, and I believe you'll enjoy it. Ross's artwork matches very well the epic scope of the story. Same thing with Busiek's and Ross's Marvels.

One of these days I'll pick up the TPB but there's a ton of other stuff I have to read before I get to it. I've stomached only decent stories with awful art before (DKSA) so I'm sure I could go through Kingdom Come well enough.

I dislike the artist that made the Origin Of species( Paul Azaceta ). I also dislike the one that made ASM #611( Eric Canete ).
There certain times that i dislike JRJR's art but there are occasions which is great.

1.Rob Leifeld-His anatomy is terrible, his faces are almost all the same and he over exaggerates poses and expressions. 2.Steve Dillion-Same beef as Leifeld. He's better at anatomy but he can't draw dissimilar faces for shit. 3.Frank Quitely-His art is stylized...too bad he has no style.I looked though his entire catalog...I found 3 good images out of hundreds. 4.Adrian Alphona....read this.It will explain. www.comicvine.com/adrian-alphona/26-4292/i-miss-adrian-alphona-d/92-386524/5.Greg Land-He makes a mockery of professional art.Stealing poses from porn and sports illustrated mags and directly taking things from other art to make his own is breaking the code we artists have. It's one thing to use things as reference or for them to have similarities but he's almost completely stolen certain works. 5.Larry Stroman...every body he draws looks like a Cat or a robot..he can draw faces at all.His anatomy is pretty weak sauce too.I couldn't imagine how his art looks before it's colored and polished. 6.Ed McGuiness-He cannot draw muscular people....he f#cks it up big time.He way over does muscles and his art just looks like a joke.

Steve Dillon: He's just really bad. His work on the latest Ultimates is better, but it's still baaaaaad.
Greg Land: EVERYONE LOOKS LIKE BARBIE AND KEN. EVERYONE. I CAN'T TELL THEM APART.

Anyone who draws Black Canary to look like a man should be shot.

While I don't dislike him per say, I do think JR JR is highly overrated. The man's art works perfectly for something like Kick Ass, and his run on Spider-man wasn't terrible, but then there are things like World War Hulk which are just bad. Everyone looked like they were either drawn to fit into a cardboard box or as if they were secretly a robot (Iron Man belonged to the former. WTF?)
