I know we have rule threads for the respect thread boards and for the battles boards, but do we have a general one? We never know when somebody's gonna want to cross a line somewhere so just having a general rules thread in The Comics Ledger discussion would be an easy way to provide a good justification for "hey, that's wrong *incur wrath*". It'd be pretty easy to put up, but it could be argued that it it'd be redundant. Thoughts?
Also I just noticed I post a lot of threads in this forum. Sorry, my bad.

Yes, we do need one. I'd imagine it would be pretty basic.
No trolling- There's a zero tolerance policy here on trolls. You'll be banned immediately.
No porn- This is a comic site, not a fapping site.
No spamming - Spammers will be banned without warning.
What else?

It's cool, Sparda, you're keeping us organised. A general rules thread is a must.

No piracy links No posting the contact information of another member in the forum without their consent No links to malicious codes (viruses) that's all I've got. Care to do the honours, Deadshot, or shall I? EDIT: Thanks Morph

I presume this thread cannot be viewed by regular users. If not, I'll delete my post.
Because I'm laughing my ass off by the "no piracy" rule.

Haha, yeah, I know. It can't be viewed by regular users. But we need to cover our asses because proboards shuts down forums with piracy links, from what I understand.
It's not so much a moral dilemma as a legal protection of our well-being.

Hahaha, "Bloody pirates!", "why is the rum gone?" and all that jazz.
I obviously agree there should definitely be a no piracy rule, I'm just having fun about it.

Thanks guys I locked and stickied the thread so regular users won't post there and make the thread longer than it has to be, too. Might as well keep it simple I guess.

Guys, what do you think about adding an amendment to the rules, to encourage people to call us and report anything out of line. Something like this:
"-The staff will do their best to make sure things run smoothly, but we're only human and we'll probably miss things from time to time. If you see an issue going unnoticed, don't hesitate to use the report to mod button or pm us, even if the issue is just moving a topic or locking a dupe thread."

I think we can all agree that's a good idea. Feel free to add it ;D

But I think one of the good things in having 12 mods/admins is that there's always at least 2-3 online.
