@olorin..why is that a problem? Because several of those stories were pretty poor in quality.

If their demise is well executed, I do not mind at all, either. Kenneth Irons *rants incoherently at how unworthy his death was* The way they killed him was shameful. I'm just pointing out that comic book companies will never let iconic villains rest in peace forever.
Top Cow's hasn't resurrected any villains so far.

I still hope he will be back at some point. Hopefully it will be in Artifacts.I primarily had Marvel/DC in mind. Top Cow stick to their guns so far.

LOL. I still hope he will be back at some point. Hopefully it will be in Artifacts. Hasn't happened so far for any villain. As you said Top Cow sticks to it's guns with those things. And they love introducing new villains, all of which so far are awesome. Tauma was especially cool for a new villain, for example. I primarily had Marvel/DC in mind Shame on you for forgetting Top Cow! ;D

Irons is the most iconic villain in what is generally regarded Top Cow's flagship title, though. Considering the power of the forces involved, it would not surprise me if he was to be back. If there was to be an exception, it could be done with him. Shame on me indeed. ;D

Tau'ma was great. Very Rasputin-like figure.
He actually reminded me of some interpretations of Lucifer. When he talks to the Curator and he called him brother and said he would always loose. Reminded me of some other stories I read where Lucifer is talking to one of the Archangels. Considering the power of the forces involved, it would not surprise me if he was to be back. It would actually have been pretty easy for them to make up a way to bring him back. The Rapture can bring back people from hell. And we've seen with Sonatime what sorcery can do. This is further supported by what we've been shown in the Necromancer comic If there was to be an exception, it could be done with him.
Considering how Top Cow operates. I'd more expect us to see Ian again. He's been gone for a long while now. But that's because he's currently in jail. It would make sense for him to become the next wielder of the Blood Sword.

Which is a good thing, since being able to pin-point him and categorise him would beat the purpose.
Oh, yes, they could easily bring him back if it came down to it.Concerning Ian...Read Artifacts # 3. I shall speak no more.

@ Crom - He broke out of prison for kicks, allied himself with Aphrodite IV, attacked Finnegan, stabbed him, and reclaimed the Blood Sword.

But I have read the first 3 of Pandora's box, very good. I haven't made up my mind on either buying each issue seperately or waiting for the trade.

It was pretty good.
You'll also be glad to hear that the Necromancer will apparently play a part in Artifacts, as well (which means I'll definitely have to read her series now).
I have enjoyed Pandora's Box and the Angelus series (I read the final issue for that mini a few days ago). Problem is, since both were supposed to serve as preludes for Artifacts, they somewhat lose their punch considering some developments that are left unresolved in those series' due to release dates, are plainly mentioned in Artifacts.
The first arc concludes with # 4, but with Top Cow's erratic schedule I don't know how soon the trade will be out (I have already seen previews for it, but, by rights, the first arc should have concluded by now, too).

Yeah I knew that as soon as I saw the cover for the first issue of Artifacts. Plus one of latest issues of Witchblade where she appeared had her blasting a demon with the symbol of one of the thirteen appearing on her face. I have a review of the Necromancer series here on the forum if you're interested. As long as a story is good, I don't mind learning this kind of stuff. It was pretty good. The first arc concludes with # 4, but with Top Cow's erratic schedule I don't know how soon the trade will be out (I have already seen previews for it, but, by rights, the first arc should have concluded by now, too). yeah it's a problem Top Cow has every so often. They've been pretty good with keeping up witchblade thought so that is cool. My brother is buying them when they come out. I've only bought trades thought personally.

I think I've commented on the review already, but we'll give it another shot once I read Necromancer.
I don't mind either, really, especially since the Angelus series was an exciting read, but I just feel it would have been more neat, for storytelling's sake.
Witchblade has indeed been running on schedule lately, too bad the Darkness and Artifacts face delays.
