I've witnessed people say Bendis has amazing dialogue. I like Neil Gaiman's dialogue.
Who would you say has the best? Or good.

Can't you? Edit the first post, and change the thread title.
I gotta say, I love Bendis's dialog a great deal. It's funny, exciting, and kinda down to earth. Some things he does sorta annoy me, like making Spidey cuss, but other than that, it's cool. Kinda like a Pulp Fiction kinda vibe I guess. I like Whedon's dialog too, but all I really got to go on is Firefly for that.

I'm going to say a webcomic author but I have a good reason.
Brian Clevinger, due to his work on 8-Bit Theater. Given that the dialogue is literally the only thing it has to offer and yet it's still as popular as it is shows just how good his writing is. Sure, there's probably a few better guys, but I don't see any of them making a comic work though sheer character conversation alone.

Basing my opinion on his recent work, Bendis can have some good dialogue. Sometimes it can be a little annoying or over the top, but I usually like it.
It's funny, I was actually reading a comic the other day and was thinking to myself that there was some great dialogue in it, but I can't remember who/what it was! If I do, or if I think of another, I'll get back to you.

Oh, I like Abnett and Lanning's dialogue a lot. I think Matt Fraction is pretty good too, although his Thor can is a bit different sometimes.

Anyone else got good ideas. In terms of comic writers?

Bendis only has good dialogue when it's meant to be humorous. When it comes to substance he's all over the place.(depending on the character)
I think Warren Ellis,Grant Morrison,Ed Brubaker are pretty good with dialogue.
