A large amount of assassins are hired to take down an insane serial killer as a group of heroes tries to stop them and bring the killer to justice.

I don't really have any RPG ideas. I've never even been an RPGer before. I tried getting into it once on CV but it was really confusing with the tons and tons of characters and teams and stories that had already been going on for years there. I wanted to get into the RPG section here because it seemed like it would be easier to be a noob RPGer in a place that's just beginning.
