It seems that the producers for ‘Never Say Never,’ an upcoming film featuring live performances of teen idol Justin Bieber, waited until the last minute to officially request permission to use the Super Mario theme song in the movie. In a random act of good common sense, Nintendo has rejected the request to the dismay of the film’s director. “aw C’mon Nintendo! Y won’t u let us use the Mario theme for 15 secs in the @justinbieber movie,” said Never Say Never director Jon Chu via Twitter. “…talk about free advertising passed up. Oops,” adds Chu. Above: We hope that Nintendo's legal team will be able to sleep at night, knowing that they passed up on all the "free advertising" they could have received by allowing the Super Mario themesong to be played in Never Say Never Never Say Never is scheduled to release on February 11 over Valentine’s Day’s weekend – and we’re certain that we’ll never watch it, Mario music or no. www.gamesradar.com/wii/wii/news/nintendo-disses-justin-bieber/a-2011011917451946024/g-20060308165433320026it is worth mention that Nintendo allowed Scott Pilgrim's movie to use a Zelda song ;D and lol at ''free advertising'',the director actualy thinks Justin is more famous than Mario?

There was a time in the 90's when Mario was more widely known than Mickey Mouse.
